I have to wonder if a discard heavy deck would be an interesting way to go here. Consider that Shared Fate doesn't draw you cards, it just lets you cast them from face down exile. First, where are your pain lands? Second, where are your dredge and flashback cards? 4 Darkblast are probably better than 8 4 mana sorcery speed board wipes. (Dredge replaces the the draw of Shared Fate) Thada Adel and Bronze Bombsheell are some pretty spicy ladies to include in this deck. Your opponent can't play the bombshell because the state based trigger will cause it to be sacrificed, and Thada will only find the garbage. I'd only do a 1 of for Thada since we don't want our opponent to have a way to deal damage to us. I prefer the borderposts for mana fixing over utopia sprawl because of the pain lands allowing for some accelerated play. Temporal Mastery and Vanishment are good miracle cards. In fact vanishment would have got you the Emrakul. I will need to add the green splash for channel abilities. Honestly, I'd drop the gimmicky As Foretold // Yahenni's and use these other cards -- especially since you have rhinos in it. I do like the Triomes for Plains and Mountain for fetch lands. I like the idea of Forbidden Orchard. Also, because of the way Shared Fate is worded, you cannot lose to an empty library. The draw is completely and totally replaced. You can mill out with dredge but only because dredge has a cost associated with the replacement effect. So once you've stabilized the board with Shared Fate in play, the opponent should have no way of removing shared fate. Once you've "combo'ed" them, you're free to share the contents of your deck and they may offer a concede or a draw based on the time left -- actually I advise this in paper, because a judge can rule that they aren't able to win in the current state and are stalling the game out.

The thought I had was to lean into the fact that you need the right colors to cast the spells exiled with Shared Fate. If you just play 5c good stuff with a lot of multi-colored cards, like a Niv-Mizzet deck or something, most of your spells will be out of color and uncastable for them anyway, so you get to play "real" spells and they still won't draw anything useful most of the time. Sure it makes the downside of sometimes giving them something useful to do much more real, but it gives the massive upside that you can actually win the game off of your own deck.

Bogle is also worthy of conversation. It'll nearly always trade with Rags unless you don't want it to... But Rags can go in a wider variety of decks. What did we learn? The usual. Lol

Overall, you're looking for cards that they can't play or cards that become irrelevant outside of your start. If you could find a substitute for Damnation and Yahenni, Jegantha becomes a valid companion. I don't know how foretell cards interact with Obosh's companion ability though. Jegantha could make a good sideboard card if your opponent's deck needs those other colors. I wonder how well Alaundo, the Seer would do here. Foretell costs could be a nice addition to the deck, since they just make the card slightly worse for your opponent than you. Draw spells too. Rebound is also similarly nice as a mechanic. Cyclone Summoner could be a good sideboard item, particularly if you get rid of the creatures they own first. Stuff like "put a land from your hand onto the battlefield" could be very good, as could card draw. Them using your card draw is a lot less useful than you doing it. Growth Spiral, for example. Mind Stab generally synergizes well, it's not that useful for your opponent once hands stop being a thing later on

Deathrite is probably the only card even remotely close to Ragavan and I would argue that Deathrite Shaman is simply a worse card in most contexts because Ragavan gets to attack AND give you mana, whereas DRS can only either make mana OR put a clock on the opponent, and never draws you cards. Ragavan is far and away the strongest 1 drop on turn 1. There's an argument if the meta is slower DRS is a better card, but even then I think the speed at which Ragavan was banned in Legacy, and the comparison between Ragavan and DRS in Vintage it's hard to really argue that DRS is stronger than Ragavan. There isn't really a format where you can insert Ragavan into it and he's not in the top 10% of creatures. DRS requires fetches to be remotely playable, and even in those formats the larger scene needs to be slow enough for it to breathe. Pioneer and Standard are great examples of the limitations of DRS, there isn't a standard environment that could survive Ragavan. I think there is a very real argument that you could unban DRS in Modern given the presence of Ragavan.

What a wild ride. Your skill astounds me, honestly. I'm sure I'd get stomped piloting this deck, but it looks so fun.

"if monkey hits you twice you dont win" youre literally playing a bad deck for the sake of it being a bad deck..............

Very fun deck, even if it was kinda awful. But honestly, one thing this deck did was make me want to see what the best As Foretold deck in modern looks like.

I would run this in a few decks if I wanted to be a madwoman, but I'm not quite that wild 😅 Nekusar...Raffine...😂

Seth, I love you, but man oh man does your hate for Ragavan make you say silly things. One Ragavan hit is not an Ancestral... lol

Leveler lets you just play by yourself with shared fate. You can't be milled out and your opponent doesn't get to exile your library.

A tutor that can get any card from a deck built to only have cards that can't win the game feels like some kind of profound meditation on the futility of existence.

I played shared fate before in 2 different ways, 1, with bribery and cards like it, another was a punisher style deck, both cannot do anything after shared fate is on the table

My lacrosse coach beat with this deck last year and I can confirm it was a painful experience even thinking about it makes me angry.

Would Wheel of Fate be a good combo with Shared Fate? That way you don't lose to what your opponent has in hand. Double Fate!

"pretty busted" if it wasn't busted it wouldn't be played in modern.... yet so many people hate the most fair deck : burn
