This video single-handedly gave me the confidence to take a stab at fabricating a vehicle from scratch. Just thinking of it as adding shapes on top of shapes instead of it all has to pull together immediately to look like the finished project is a huge mindset shift.

Amazing. I would have loved a two part video, one with the build, then another with the painting. Don't underestimate how much people would like to watch stuff that might seem "boring" to you.

It was more a mix of deadlines for the build off and being very new to KZitem. I did the build and video start to finish in less than a week and it took me probably 40 hours or so for everything. Going forward I am well aware that many people whare your interest and opinion so there will be more complete documentation in the future. Thanks for your feedback and watching the videos! 👍

Hmmmm...uhhhhhh....trying to find the words but all that comes to mind is DAMN 🤣. Both you and Krisitan truly disgust me with your insane crafting skills - I can't imagine being able to look at something and say "oh I'll just build one from scratch" - I believe it's a gift and not something that can be learned...and the two of you are blessed with such skills. I'm going to have to watch this video again...more carefully and taking notes...in the hopes that I may pick up some of these skills knowing that there's absolutely no way I could ever come close to something like this. Well done, Ben...amazingly well done!

All of Your videos litterally is what I been searching for for months on scratch building that would help someone like me who is new and struggling with scratch building. You got a new subscriber for life now please keep doing videos amd maybe a full step by step build that we can follow with exactly and build it along with the video and add our own imagination to it but the video would just be a road map to help us along the way. I use evergreen cheaper in states beautiful job love the video and layers taught me that you don't need to press the shape of the pannels in you just glue prices on top amd make layers like the front part of your bus tgank you

I was wondering if you're in Japan. I'm super jealous! It's amazing how so many parts just worked out for this. I think in order to get that curve you were wanting for the roof you'd need more sheets with the edges closer together if that makes sense...probably would need thinner sheets of styrene so it didn't get too large. I think it turned out great though. Omg you found a bus lol go figure😂 That 30 min went by quickly and it was fun watching you work. @@BPCustomCreations haha none(?) DnD. But I love to paint and sculp miniatures. I started purchasing Necrons from WH a couple of monts ago, since I fell in love with the aesthetics and now I need some ideas to put them in a diorama or something to not showcasing all just there standing on the shelve XD

@@ignifero gotcha! When you said terrain I assumed it was for a miniatures game. I don't currently play any games either but I love to make and paint things 👍

Sept. 25, 2021----Thanks for the video as I now understand how I'll do mine. but it'll be a 1/35 scale motorhome for a zombie/ apocalypse diorama. Aarii (Japan modeling company) has 2 buses out in 1/32 scale that I have. However, they, like the English, drive on the wrong side of the road, so have to change the passenger door from the right side, to the left and of course, switch the drivers door. But I've seen more than one school bus made into a motorhome, so.....

@@BPCustomCreations Started a thread titled for those who build models on Survivalist Boards, then go to the part that says the dark side. Got some photos of 2 dioramas I was working on. Had stuff happen and just beginning to get back into them, but there are some photos and near the end of the thread are some photos of a 1/32 diecast VW van I've been working on. As to the bus models, Google zombie/ apocalypse dioramas and you'll see one that someone converted, with sign on it saying we don't need help.

How in the world do you find / store everything you need. You seem to just pull out what you need when you need it. Maybe some is the magic of “filming “.

😂 The answer is part movie magic and part chaos. I edited this video down from almost 10 hours of raw footage and the build probably took me close to 20. I edit the slow bits out to make it watchable but the bits and tools are scattered everywhere in a chaotic "I know where everything is at, don't organize it for me" kind of way 🤣

You should have used the pull back motor so it can move on his own... also use the original cars bottom sawed in half to fit the lenght of the bus for a better rolling ability.

Pull back motor? Original car? If you watch the video you'll see there was no starting vehicle.

@@BPCustomCreations what are you talking about? You didn't made the wheel from scratch you could use those car's pullback motor.

@@maszkalman3676 true, the axles were the wrong size but I probably could have made it work. When it comes down to it, this is for a tabletop game and having a pull back function would be annoying not to mention the front of the bus slamming into things. Many people who play gaslands make sure to fix the wheels in place as to not have their miniatures moving on the game table. I appreciate the suggestion! Maybe a future project can include such features. Thanks for watching 😁👍
