I know of a guy who makes actual glass guitars. Like, not acrylic guitars, literally glass body and glass neck. Ima search for a link right now. It's not a crushed one though. But it's made out of actual glass sheets, and the craftmanship that goes behind it is just crazy! He also cannot research anything because he is literally the only person I know who does that, so he has to figure it all out by himself.
Mad how humble these guy is. Doesn't hype anything up at all. He's just doing his thing

Ive watched this video three times now. I find it inspiring as I am also a woodworker. my favorite thing about this guitar is that you didn't really do all that much to the wood; you just highlighted it's natural beauty and put it in a situation where that can be recognized. great job man.

You really need to brand these things, you could even do a dark wood, with a red resin to make it look like a valley with a lava pit, almost like a heaven and hell variant. In any case, this is possibly the coolest looking guitar I have ever seen, and I want one!

Yes!! If you desicate real flowers in silica gel (the small beads), they hold up really well in resin.

You should do this with some cracked darker wood like mahogany or something and fill the cracks with red/orange. Make it look like lava is flowing throughout the guitar

I gotta say, I think I like this a lot more than your colored pencil guitars. That being said, I've got an idea; frozen model guitar. Instead of a clear resin "river" you could put little train tracks and a model train in the gully or a road and little cars on the road. Stop laughing, it's a serious idea.

The only issue is he said he doesnt have a vacuum chamber so any extra pieces would create bubbles galore in the epoxy and weaken it structurally

Yeah man African blackwood would be most Affordable exotic wood to buy for that, the wood they use for the black piano keys is gaboon ebony. It is super hard and it can crack easily but that is an awesome idea.

You do beautiful work. As a pro auto painter, I've done a handful of guitars and drums. You'd be able to get a slick mirror finish that makes your color really pop if you'd get a body shop to clear your guitar body with a proper 2k urethane and not use the spray cans. It would have MUCH better scratch, chip, and chemical resistance, and It'd cost you maybe $50. Well done, sir. You're inspiring!

This really inspires me to make custom guitars of my own. I really love the shape of the Tele body but I am mainly a bass player so I could make a bass with a Tele body. I'll probably do this as a side project. It seems really hard but the end result will be worth it. Thanks for the inspiration!

I think the ones who 'dislike' the video, are the people who tried something similar and failed. Nice work Brother !
