I love my Terra. I ended up building it with a 6800xt and a 5700x. At first, I tried fitting the case with a Noctua NH-L9x65, but the temperature of the GPU and CPU were pretty bad. I ended up using a smaller cooler and I found that putting the gpu further away from the grate side-panel helped keep my temperature low. It runs great now.

For my last 2 builds I have shortened original power cables. You don't have to throw them away and buy expensive custom sets. All you need is to shorten one end of like 3 cables, which is 50% less work. Requires minor investment in tools and pins which is roughly in line with popular extension cable sets. But you learn a new skill and the fit will be perfect. And eventually you can do full color custom setups if you decide to do so or could recycle cut cables for different projects since those lose ends already have pin on one end. I learned from Optimum Tech. Except I use hot knife to cut original sleeves/insulation. So you cut and melt/fix them in one move. Works good enough for me.

Love the build! One thing I would change is the cooler to the Thermalright AXP120-x67. Same height and clearance as the Big Shuriken 3, but it has an extra heat pipe which REALLY sets it apart from the Big Shuriken 3. On top of that the fins on the cooler are orientated vertically so the path of air flow is much smoother, making the cooler much more efficient. I've had both and tested both in my FormD T1 and I would definitely give it a look if you want to tame the CPU a bit more. On the end note of a potential 120mm fan on the bottom, you'd actually want it to be an exhaust. that'll promote more air pulling through the side panels to help the GPU cooler more effectively.

I was using a Ryzen 5 5600x with a Noctua NH-L9a and while it was able to keep it cool, it was a little too loud. I swapped it out for a NH-L9x65 and now it is pretty much silent even when gaming. For my build, I went with * Graphite color Fractal Design Terra case * Asus B760I motherboard (I hate that external hive on the Z790I which in my opinion defeats the whole purpose of a small easy to transport ITX system) * Intel 17-13700K * Thermalright AXP120-X67 CPU cooler (it doesn't fit with the heat pipes over the power heat sink, so rather the heat pipes need to go over the RAM, limiting RAM height) * Low-profile 64GB DDR-5600 memory * Seasonic Focus SGX 650W PSU * No GPU (I don't need a GPU for my application) I'm very pleased with the performance and aesthetics of the system. Without needing a GPU, there are smaller cases available, but I've been very happy with Fractal Design cases and decided to continue with them. This and a more robust system in the Fractal Design North case are my two main computer systems, and the wood front on both complement each other, though I mainly use the Terra system for going on the road. my take... a lovely build. custom cables would be the best but really you should pick a psu with individually sleeved cables like corsair and lian li who make sfx psu's with individual sleeving. Cables are way more flexible and...no added expense. Lian Li has a psu in white as well. i am planning a sff case build to replace my aging 6 year old pc (gtx 1080 with i7 processor). i am considering the Terra and the Dan C4-SFX but that thing is out of stock and new v2 not set to be released until 2024. It can hold the really big GPUs and you can use tower air coolers (Noctua NH-D12L) and NO Riser cable to mess with! However, i do love having a case on my desk and being able to look into the build so i may do another NR200P (not the max) build. I used for to build for a relative and learned a lot especially cable management as i used a psu with those stiff plastic cables. Hence my comment earlier HaHa. i think you guys, Optimum Tech and Machines and More are my go to sites for equipment suggestions and SFF builds. Keep up the great work!

I have 2 dreambuilds. First is a 4L, which sadly only has a modded 3070 or 4060Ti max, no 4070 in sight, despite having a 200W 3060Ti with an ITX cooler. CPU is a 5800X3D or 7800X3D. I DO have a 5L PC with a bigger GPU space (and a wooden front), but even here a 4060Ti is max. For those who can't imagine it: 5L is less then HALF the size of the Terra or any new console. The second is a C4-SFX Build with 4090 and 7800X3D. Either AIO or aircooled. Sadly the C4 is not available anymore. As for the second one, I have a NR200P with 4090FE and 5800X3D which is a big bigger, but also good. The only thing that is loud is the GPU, if I use the stock fancurve... For those thinking a small PC can't keep a 4090 cool...well my 4090FE doesn't throttle at 600W power OR 35°C room temp (with normal powerlimit).
