After changing my 1992 Mercedes tie rods, I found the lower control arms were shot. So, it was time to change them.
And I know - the king of thumbnails right?

Axle stands, trolley jack & main car jack
Socket sets - 2 of them ideally - 13mm, 16mm (if taking tie rod off for access), 19mm(2)& 22mm(2)
Spanner 16/17mm & 5mm allen key
Spring compressor unit for Mercedes Benz cars
Optional -
Metal pole/pipe for levering and smashing
Rags to clean underneath, ready for spraying with rust protection - Dinitrol 445
