That's one thing about Good Will that bothers me is that people give them some nice things and then they don't take care of it. They put a big price on it and dump it on the shelf. And then unfortunately lots of times it just ends up getting damaged.

Not trying to be "that" person, just a scientist, so I am genetically compelled to correct you. The genus name is the one that gets capitalized, so it's, Ginkgo biloba. Otherwise, you're spot-on. Beyond that, it looks like it's an ash tray.

@@melissalynncolbert-amyotte4678 totally, agree. They are really screwing things. People who pay resellers, basically, by purchasing items on e-bay at higher prices, do so because they don’t have access to good stores or for many reasons would rather have resellers do the leg work and sourcing for them. So, the thrift stores could do very well selling essentials at appropriate prices for those who need and by acting as wholesalers to the resellers who buy volume. It’s a no brainer that would work well for everyone, including them. Corporate, short-sighted, greed is screwing everyone, including themselves.

here in australia, we have TIP SHOPS, where they still try to sell on anything before it goes to landfill. its run by the local councils and usually staffed by people either with disabilities or people who have to do community services for minor offenses.. at one local TIP SHOP they would run small auctions on anything that was old and repairable... Always check back at ones that over price, as staff get recycled often and their prices will change a lot depending on who's running them at any particular time.. its been a great channel to watch while we've been in lock downs and our charity stores have been shut..thanks for sharing your knowledge and adventures.
