I think you should reunite Dorje and play a green screen multi-camera live set and turn it into the biggest epic online live album/documentary ever and release it on KZitem. Call it Finale or Coda and give the original band a proper send-off for all of us who came up with you all on KZitem.

If they can come to a venue. You could simply host a festival. Let them film the festival and broadcast it on YT. That would attract new bands for the next year and both their company and you can make a buck. Let's say you sell the live recordings as albums for the bands. And they (the filming company) get the revenue from the video's on yt. And above a certain return of investment (pay out YT) you get a cut to manage the future festivals and invest in them. That way you have a starting point for a music label. Developing artists was and is never cheap.

Use it to tell a story, make a character thats based on yourself - the dreams you had and growing up what went right and wrong. What did you learn. Do it in the third person perspective as to invite the viewer to imagine some of its also there story. Or something.

Hey Rob… Wonderful news that this opportunity has come your way…It's great that you're so excited, as indeed you should be…BUT……Speaking as someone who’s been involved at a high level with music for the movies for 25+years (FWLIW) and have worked with some incredible people in amazing places, my advice would be the following: Don't be too bewitched by the ‘glamour’ of the situation…Concentrate instead on asking yourself the question: “I love guitars and guitar playing SO much but what has previously frustrated me about the videos my friends and I have made over the years?…I want to convey that love and excitement for guitar culture even more so, so what visual footage could I capture that would inspire and amaze both budding and current guitarists to embrace this amazing instrument?…And, yes!…Potentially buy a Chapman guitar?”…No shame in the latter, as far as I’m concerned. …So take a breath/don't rush…I’m sure Rupture haven’t given you a deadline to take them up on your offer?!…And why not actually ask their advice BTW?…They’re the experts in visual storytelling after all!…So in the short term Rob I’d suggest just keep doing what you’re doing and inspiration will come to you when it’s meant to…That is when and how to get the most value (creatively, spiritually and (yes) commercially) out of this amazing opportunity. Much love, RT. PS. Really looking forward to your exciting gear announcement.

That’s fantastic Rob, what an opportunity. The film industry being big there is understandable, I’ve often thought, whilst wandering around Malta and Gozo that it would be so fantastic as a setting for a Walking Dead spin-off type thing. Especially with the architecture and natural topography. But I think you should definitely record a performance video there, like Tiny Desk, but with a big studio. You could also edit in various Chapman guitars and gear throughout the songs to showcase what they can do

Film a very creative music video (could just be about instrumental), but also record all the behinds the scene footage using the same technology. Include why you choose your rig and what it does for you, how you are setting things up, the motivation for the song, etc. Then splice it into one KZitem video like 48 hours or 60 minutes does for us to consume kind of like a report. After that you also release separate videos for the song, the B roll and the gear. Take a look at what CBS morning did for U2’s debut at the sphere. Could be cool.

I’d make something showcasing the Earth, humanity, nature, life, etc. Something that brings the power, majesty, mystery and wonder of it all into focus, with music to match. Make the best short movie/music reel you can, with instrumental guitar music to go along with it. Collaborate with Rabea and some others. Just make it big and make it epic. This is a gateway into the movie industry. Make it work, make it happen!

Yes, this is smart. Rob should get out of the way of the technicians and do what he does, moving like they want him to but provide as much music as possible. I don't know if he needs to be alone ... he could be playing with someone but the idea should be to do as much one take as possible. Maybe do retakes as the technicians want to try out different approaches. That way the studio gets maximum value out of having him there and he gets the longest "showreel" out of the studio time. The more he prepares a particular subject or "dream shot" the more time gets eaten up in the chores of realising that dream; you have to trust the studio to know what works, what's fun and what will show off the tech to best advantage. Also, treat it as day one of an ongoing collab; this isn't about the end product, it's about getting everyone committed to working together.

@@sordel5866 Thanks man..I wasn't too sure on the single/group/band idea either. I feel like I haven't seen Rob just rip it up in a high quality format. Being the product and not so much the producer is a sure way to save time. As much music as possible sounds like a clear winner to me. I guess with so little time one could treat it like packing for an overseas trip, half your luggage then half again and then once again. A man and his guitar and a plethora of environments with the latest tech. What else could an Axetuber ask for. No matter what, I hope Rob has fun reading our crazy ideas.

What do guitar players actually think about in a day... No one around them are getting answers to their questions, their girlfriend/boyfriend is 100% sure that they're thinking of leaving them with those empty eyes staring out in nothingness thinking about: "Is it really that bad to leave your string ball end at the tuning pegs while cutting the string at the bridge, when sporting a Floyd." -"How is it possible that my gear sounds absolutely rubbish today, when yesterday, it was the best think I've ever played. I might have to kill myself". "Next time I buy new speakers for my cab, I'm going to leave the amp just going with an mp3 player blasting through it for a week to break them in. But is it really that smart, with a tube amp? Will it break or fail the amp or tubes? I've gotta get a transistor amp to use, only for breaking in speakers. It'll be gnarly if the speakers are in a combo... Damn, i have to take the speakers out and move them to the transistor combo.....!! Or can I just have a transistor top and connect the speakers directly to that!? Damn, I'm smart.... " What's that honey? Come again...! Make that a really visual experience on camera.

You need to blag a month of filming plus a budget, and then you make a guitar caper version of the Italian Job. It is perfect becasue Joe Bonamassa's name is Italian, in the plot you steal his collection of bursts, and his most expensive amps etc. You get chased around by the police and the staff of Guitar magazines who want to ask obvious questions about the gear. I can just picture Lee Andertonn as Mr Bridger the prison baron and you training the gang...... Difficult to say but I'd suggest you should film a proper music video, performing with any one of your bands (I read someone suggest you do a “proper Dorje send off” ¿?). I work in the film & TV industry and my view is a KZitem demo (lesson, video, etc.) would not really be worth it for you, or showcase such a significant jump in production value- whereas a music video would give you the advantage of showcasing your & your bandmates' talent in a unique, top-of-its class production facility. That’s my two-cents for what it’s worth… either way, take the opportunity and best of luck, you deserve it. Cheers!

My first thought is, think outside the box. You have a great opportunity to do something big, so go large or stay home. They are offering a DAY use it! I would be tempted to film a dozen music videos. If I was to do my normal routine video,do several. And, please don't have the set be a flat with a sofa and several guitars. The "misconceptions of new guitar players" could be filmed on the moon. The "10 best budget guides" could appear that you are in a budget department store (i.e Wal-Mart) Be we'll planned in advance and do not waste anyone's time. This opportunity IS A GIFT, Enjoy every moment. I still think that I would film music videos and not worry about the sound/tone until post production, but what do I know...

Please DON'T just shoot a higher quality piece of what you always do. Make an epic! Huge music, get INSIDE the guitars and amps, but names. Make THE movie about what guitars are, and what they mean.

@RobChappers you could just do a bit of banter back and forth with you and some others about 10 affordable guitars, taking advantage of the movie green screen, use some of those ideas to take it next level. Think U2 Downtown Las Vegas for the Atomic City, or whatever live background, Then that live background cuts away, you are on stage playing Wembly and using whatever audience, then that could cut away, and you are in front of the Eiffel Tower, then that cuts away and you are playing in front of Sam Spade and CasaBlanca, "Of all the jin joints in all the world, why did she have to come into my bar?" that scene could cut away and you could be a warm up act at the Cantina bar on Tatooine where we were introduced to Han Solo in Star Wars. Out of couriousity, have you ever played a a packed Wembly stadium? My casablanca references may be off, that was before my time, but it is a classic line. Depending on the size of cooperators, you might not be able to do much, but with a great green screen, and enough ability to select about a dozen great moments, you can do alot. Maybe you wouldn't want to bring this beginner guitar up with you to open mic night at the cantina bar on Tattooine, but maybe it might fit in playing before the King of England, or a prince or two. You could Teach Harry to play a few chords. You could collab with John, Paul, Ringo, and the other guy to add to harmonizing about Seargeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Collab with Don McLean about the day the music Died. Collab with Paul Simon on the boy in the bubble, and the baby with the baboon heart. Medicine is Magical and Magical is art. Cinematic. Visionary.

If it were me I'd utilize the incredible studio and its screen tech for a full Monkey Lord ambient album video shoot. Granted, I'm in love with that music, but using such tech to film videos of some or all those great songs seems like a no-brainer. Whatever you decide, though, I'm certain it's going to be excellent.

As long as you're going to Namm maybe a promotional video of Chapman guitars and your new product you're going to release that you can show with the hand on and all other social media platforms that you might be on.

Hear me out..... You know that video of nuno, tom morello, Scott Ian doing the game of thrones theme tune???... You and some of your Maltese shred buddies nail a promo for Chapman guitars? A recognisable track each with your own style doing your own bits on different Chapman guitars?? Something on those lines?! Could be epic

Porn.... Joke! ;) Guitarists from Movie universes. You dress up as a someone who lives in a Movie universe and play guitar riffs based on that Movie universe. e.g. You dress up like someone from Jurassic park and play guitar with Dinosaurs running around behind you or, you dress up like Neo from the Matrix and play guitar with the matrix code swirling around you... etc lol!!

How about instead of the top 10 budget guitars, maybe go with the top 5 or 10 most beautiful Guitars.. Those Cameras are going to pick up the beautiful flamed tops and nice hardware. No sense on wasting the experience on average guitars. So maybe top 5 or 10 and bring along the Guys from Andertons.. That would be Mega

Hi Chappers! Congratulations for getting that opportunity. I would definitely do a Chapman Guitars commercial. Perhaps you will never again get the chance to have such an image push for fckn free. What ever you should decide for, I'm looking forward to seeing your result.

Hi from Australia Rob! It's a bit of a pickle you're in, because I don't think a general topic type of video would make use of the space. Definitely think about content for yur brands like Chapman or Guitarmory. Some crazy quaity content for those products could be super cool. The other option is step away from guitars for it and do more slice of life style content. I know we haven't seen your beautiful partner on the channel (assumingly on purpose) for a number of years, so maybe some spouse related lifestyle content would be awesome, and and would also give us an updated look into your life.. Maybe a live video of a vocal duet with you both? Just some thoughts though, either way don't let such a crazy opportunity go to waste \m/

If your musician friends are close-by, and can be called upon quickly, film a track with which you're all familiar in a day, using the backdrop screen. This means you're not 'taking the piss' by using the company's time to aggrandise your own career, but you're feeling out the process of making a band video in their studio, whilst taking advantage of their kind offer of a free day. That way, it's more complicated than a simple 'Top 10 things people do wrong etc.' video, but you're still making good use of the studio time presented to you. You're welcome! Good luck, and thanks for including us all, once again.

Shoot a short documentary of the Chapman Guitar! I mean not just "a video clip"..Narrate them! So I mean maybe the outcome won't be like the whole documentary was shoot by that robot thing.. but there are certain things done by it and there are clips maybe you get from somewhere else..and in that studio, you shoot something out of this world to add to that..Excuse me for my English if what I'm actually trying to say doesn't really get across to you that good. Anyway, I hope this will turn great for you, Rob! Can't wait to see the final outcome! Cheers! Rock n roll!! 🤘🏿🤘🏿

Great story. Film a really cool music video (band performance) featuring your instruments. BTW: the display technology is direct-view LED and not LCD.
