For me, as a recent sub, and certainly not a gamer - I'm 70 in a week's time!, - a white oldster from the UK, so I guess not your target audience - I really like your style in camera videos. You've got a distinct style, and you're not the standard cardboard cut-out Tuber. You are three (maybe more) dimensional and that means a lot. You need to decide what will bring you the most satisfaction for you your family and your business. I'll certainly keep looking at the camera and photog stuff, so I really hope you keep that going in the quality way that you do it. Thank you for the stuff that you've done already. I have been educated and entertained immensly by your approach. Whatever you do, keep being true to yourself - that's what makes you watchable.

I think you should do 8 out of 10 videos within the niche and 2 whatever you want. Organic growth. I do that on my channel. 8 within EDC and 2 on whatever I want. Sidenote, I miss my stoop in East Cleveland. Also I think you should take advantage of a video switcher like a ATEM to switch cameras during talking heads and record directly to your computer. That streamlines editing for some of my videos. On my channel I have a man based podcast that used to have 100 to 200 views but I kept pumping it out along side my EDC content. It know gets North of 1k views and I have sponsor segments. I think the benefit of your channel is that it is named after your name

Instead of trying to change the format of the channel, maybe do some additional self promotion to expose you to a wider audience. Possibly team up with or be interviewed by some other KZitemrs or podcasters that are in a similar genre to expose your channel to a larger audience. I'm not a content creator so I really don't know your business. But most businesses need to do some sort of advertising when they get to certain size, so maybe KZitem is the same.

As always, thanks for the honesty and the energy. As one of the 70K subs already here, I am here because I like your style, your insights, and your enthusiasm. I like watching you and I am interested in camera gear. I am not interested in gaming videos. Publishing gaming videos on this channel would clutter my feed and I would decide to unsubscribe to avoid the clutter. But that would be me making a choice for me and you have to make choices for you and your family. In the end, there are a zillion camera channels, but there’s only one Terry, so make him happy and we all win. Thanks for being you. ❤

Getting to 100k subs in the photography/video space of KZitem is hard bro. I get that reaching 100k is validating and you get that feeling of "I've arrived". But don't lose sight of why you started your channel to begin with (unless that entire reason was to just get to 100k). I have 2 channels and I'm working on building a third. I have gotten into shooting Swim Week and Fashion Show content, but I don't want that content to take over my main channel. And my second channel is for Live Streams only (Photo-Me-LIVE). So I'm working on a third channel to post Swim Week stuff. The more you focus on a particular "niche" on your channel. The better your engagement will be because the people who love and want to see that kind of still will come back over and over for it. Man, I have so much I could talk about concerning this topic because I've been on KZitem since 2016 but I don't want to make this post super long. But if you ever want some advice from someone who has done or is doing what you are considering. I'm here!

Any camera or content creation stuff we know you’ll deliver on, and you can point out like “Gamer Fridays” or “Stresming Saturday” so the gaming fans will know when to come check on that content. You can then branch out more content like gaming setups, desk tours, man caves etc

Here's my experience for what it's worth. First of all, I watch a lot of gear channels but there's two I can go to that I know I'm going to get a 100% honest review and perspective that will benefit me the most. Your channel and The Everything Man. I've added my other interests into my content on my channel that doesn't exactly align with our typical content for years but it only interests a very small percentage of my viewer base when I deviate. My wife had a cooking segment in our vlogs but we eventually turned that into her own cooking/lifestyle channel. I also created a variety channel to cover my varying interests. I started streaming games on Twitch a few years ago and that went great for many months until I stopped. What I found is that those that wanted to see the other content we had to offer came to those other channels. The ones that didn't stayed on the main channel. It sounds like a ton of work but it was freeing since I could make what I wanted to make and it all had a home. When I'm not working on one of the 3 channels I'm also getting in a little PC gaming before bed. I guess I'm of the opinion to keep this channel what it is for what it's worth. If you ever need a fourth to melt bugs or bots for managed democracy hmu.

I’ve watched you be forward about your faith, I’ve seen you love your family and pivot from a very difficult job loss. You may not be at 100k, but one of your subscribers follows you and looks up to you (and I think I’m even older than you, haha). Bro... Hear me out, YOU BIG TIME TRIPPIN!!!!!!!! No diss/No shade at all. KZitem has been a goal of mine for the better part of a decade. I feel like Im just as talented/creative as you if not better. I felt everything you mentioned wholeheartedly. I dont have nearly the youtube you have because 1- I don't feed into it and/or 2- Im too busy creating for other platforms and even other people. Finally decided 2wks ago to start uploading but.... still haven't. I edit everythg from content for others to actual national campaigns. When I finally get a break the last thing i want to do is edit 😫 I say all this to say.... Fam you inspire me more than MKB! I subb'd after seeing a mic review. I had no intention on buying "ANOTHER" mic. I was just.... "studying tape". I like the package I saw. As an pro editor, I recognized all the work you had in just one upload. I appreciated the crispy audio n visuals. I enjoyed seeing a new black face in a space I want to be in. When I saw you hit 50k I was like, "See...!!? Fam out here getting it! Bro already at 50K! I need to get busy!!!" Like..., Im legit proud of you. 70k is a lot to be proud of!!!! Dont get caught up in these numbers more than you being yourself. Im here because I appreciate your authenticity n transparency. Your numbers will boom soon. You can do the exact same review that Peter of Casey does but someone like myself may hear it different because of the messenger. Dont feel pressure to put yourself in a box. Ima fan. YOU'RE DOING AN AMAZING JOB! If you are experiencing any types of creative blocks, WATCH MORE GARY V!!!!! Gary clogged for a yr n was only get like a few 100views/vid. And he was already poppin when he started but once he caught that wave he had a yrs worth of content for kats to eat up!!!! Im tellin yo bro.... Your shit is good. Stay consistent!!! My little brother has a youtube with 16k follows. He ask me for advice all the time. It blows my mind because I didn't think he could get a 1000. Yall the goat to me!!!! 🤣 DM me of whatever. I have some swag to send you brudda. Maybe Ill make a vid with you in the future! Nevah know.. Just Be A Good Person

Terry, I honestly can’t remember when I first subscribed but it’s been 3 years or so now. I will occasionally sub and un-sub to other channels in this space but I’ve always been on yours. My opinion is don’t mix gaming with this channel. I personally would enjoy some occasional gaming content (I enjoy gaming too) but for me it would detract from the excellent content you create here. Also, I’m thinking the algorithm would penalize you for it. I know how it is to have many interests and I constantly “battle” with trying to keep focused so I can make progress in one particular direction. It can be tough for guys like us that have interests I several directions! Just a thought - maybe slow down on your motorcycle channel and really focus on this channel and perhaps a separate gaming channel. Either way I hope you stay in the camera space, I will be here with you if you do!

Starting a second channel is the hard way, but I think mixing up things on one channel is hard. You know that people who love games will go and follow that new channel when you mention it here. Just by mention it you will not loose people here. And if that channel becomes equally or even more successfully than this channel, focus more on that. Life is all about taking chances. But I can guarantee you that mixing up things on one channel....will bring discussions about it. Make a plan and execute it. More people had their doubts lately. Must be a sign of time, or KZitem has changed something again. Good luck Terry!

Create a separate channel. Midas/Tomi has THREE channels! And all three are well past the 100K subscriber count. He has his main tech channel where he covers general tech, a workout channel called the Movement/Midas, and gaming channel called Gamespace/Midas. It's like watching cable TV. Do you remember when MTV actually played only music videos? When did MTV stop being MTV? The moment they stopped playing music videos and starting showcasing reality TV. Or look at Linus Tech Tips. He has his main channel, but he also has several spinoff channels (ShortCircuit, Techquickie, TechLinked) that focus on different aspects of tech.

cameras are like phones now. They're all good now. People don't need to look at 5 or 6 videos to make a decision anymore. You can't just depend on cameras so gaming and other tech can work. But that's incredibly competitive too. So you gotta approach it from a different angle

I have a buddy that did movie reviews and gaming content. I watch all of his movie reviews, but I’m not interested in the gaming. I hated looking at his page trying to thumb through it to find what I was interested in. I think it also hurt his channel.myself, and a few others convinced him to separate the two. You can of course do anything you want, but I would not recommend gaming on the same channel.

You already spoke of how hard it is to grow with a mix of stuff on this channel adding gaming imo won’t help that much. I’m new here but came for the camera type stuff and been watching the videos. If I go for gaming stuff it’s from specific people and for the humor (scope shot, timthetatman for games the fiancée and I don’t even play) Now if you were to re direct the channel and make it more of the vlog style/stuff you like and emphasize your interest in the camera stuff and reviews and as others in the popcorn section mentioned have a gaming night or something that might broaden the channel but would get people to watch because it’s more lifestyle hanging out style. Which also imo doesn’t need to be clearly as polished but can still be cinematic when needed like say life of riza or something but with your own sauce on it.

I think you should consider other ways to monetize your viewers so there is less dependence on the success of each video. I am pretty sure people would purchase classes on video creation / KZitem creation rtc. Especially if the classes were sprinkled with some of your positive mindset wisdom. That bit of inspiration woule be what makes your classes stand out. It would open another revenue stream not totally dependent on your time, after you created the classes.

The gaming space is one of the least profitable in terms of adsense on youtube, not sure if spending time on that is a good idea - as for growing the channel … have you thought of *branching out* just a little bit wider? just going a little bit wider in terms of topics and what you cover, to catch the net slightly wider? the camera gear space is getting crowded, people have a lot of choice on who to follow, looking a bit beyond the current borders slowly going a bit wider in themes and topics?

Personally I wouldn't do it for business/youtube purposes, especially on your main channel. Game videos and the attention they garner is not what it used to be. On the outside looking in, it seems that all you have to do is play a game, upload that gameplay, and suddenly people are flocking to it. I'm here to tell you that this is not what is happening. You can deny that and think to yourself "I'm different though", all you want. Any "guru", any creator growth expert, and anyone that has done it will tell you this. My suggestion (to be fair, you asked), would be to start the new gaming channel and use what you've learned about growth and navigating a youtube channel, to grow that channel. I'm not discounting or disregarding your lack for time, but this would be the SMARTEST way to go about it. Mixing your main channel any more than it already is, will almost definitely chop the legs a bit. Variety content is only cool if you are cool with that, which you could be and thats ok. I am a huge promoter of variety content, but also a promoter of acceptance of what that would mean. Secondly, even though YT is part of how you make money and the larger, the better (in theory), my second suggestion would be to give up on the numbers being the goals. You've already succeeded. You have a channel that has reached a point where most don't and by all intents and purposes...won't. We tend to get in our minds a little when we see our friends and peers all doing "better" than us. But I think we need to relearn how to find contentment in the ACTUAL thing...like we did when we began. Maybe combine (content from) your other channels into ONE variety content space (new channel but re-uploaded content from previous bike, faith, etc. channels). Then you'd have ONE variety content channel, ONE gaming channel and then your main channel, instead of four to six channels (time gained?). Or maybe become ok with all of these channels you have to just being channels where you documented pieces of your life...and nothing further. Curve your expectations a little as far as your channels go. It just FEELS better imo. I have gotten to a point where I don't care about the numbers at all anymore (granted I don't need to lean on them financially either anymore either), but taking the "hobby-minded" approach (whether hobby or not) feels SO MUCH better to me now. ...and by the way, yes I have multiple channels. My main channel (7yrs - 11.7k), my lifestyle/experimental channel (2yrs - ~100), and a gaming channel (4mo - ~100). So I also speak from experience, not just data peeping. Good luck to you.✊🏾

IMHO, create a new channel for gaming content. Camera content audience and gaming audience don’t necessarily overlap, which means you might get new followers, but alienate a significant part of the 70k you already have and thus reduce your CTR and this might hinder your growth in the long run. I think it’d be a lot better for you to keep serving the “camera content niche” on one side and simultaneously start building a gaming audience on another channel. The key is gonna be for you to create bridges between these two channels, especially from your camera channel to your gaming channel with videos like “My setup for creating gaming content”, “How to livestream content using (insert name of a software)” etc… mentioning the name of your gaming channel that you’re creating this setup for. Also, from a business perspective, bear in mind that brands value clarity, and gaming-related brands are gonna be happy to work with a gaming channel that they know is a gaming channel more than a channel that does a little bit of many things. And on the same topic, it might be tough to start building a new audience at the beginning, but 1 or 2 years down the line, you might find yourself in a situation where you are running a 80k+ Camera channel and a 50k+ gaming channel whereas mixing it all together would’ve probably resulted in you running a 90k channel that does both. Hope it helps even a little

From the viewer side: I like camera stuff, but I just have a bunch of interests, and camera gear isn't the top thing. From the business side, there's a few things I think are worth considering. I don't know what the RPM/CPM is for camera content, but everywhere I've seen gaming content discussed (I regularly read stuff in a Partnered KZitem Creators Discord, so it's not a small sample size) points to it potentially being the lowest paying mainstream niche on KZitem. I imagine camera gear content generally pays way more per mille than gaming, so you would have to regularly make more views than you currently are to earn the same amount through AdSense. As far as quality is concerned, sometimes those quickly thrown together videos are the ones that really take off! You also don't have to pick one single quality level for the whole channel. Lastly, building up a nice search-focused evergreen library can help keep money coming in when you need a break or the subscriber views just aren't coming in. I'm sure you'll figure it out with or without this comment; you seem to approach life in a healthy way and won't let things get too far out of balance. Keep being you!

To be honest. I think you don't need an extra channel but you need an editor so you can focus on making video's while he or she is editing the video, upload the video, make a description, and all the other things you have to do. After that you might even hire more people for other stuff related on the channel. People come to you because of you. They want to see Terry in front of the camera, and they don't care who uploaded your video, or color graded your video, etc.

In terms of algorithm; your best bet is to figure out if your viewers are pushed via the KZitem channel or if unique visitors are pushed to individual videos. For instance, can you be a production house that produces various content on one channel or do you have to niche. And obviously people who look for alerts on your website might like or not like being alerted or seeing other content other than video content. Lots of numbers to keep track and make your most sensible assessment. People have also had backup channels or how I did a particular video channels separate to from main channel. I would check out what the top talent is doing and if they are separating the two. On a side note, I will still follow your channel and watch the ones I like 👍🏽 and probably watch more because I think you’re a good dad. And a good man at that. So, I support your creative content

As much as no creator wants to hear it, you already have your answer with your recent uploads. Anything that isnt camera related, like bikes or gaming, is getting no clicks comparitively at all. Your subs are not interested. I feel your pain, i want to create some film photography videos for example, but those videos just dont perform as well. and thats *slightly* out of my niche, not even massively. That's the youtube game: Give this audience what they subscribed for, or a lot of them won't stick around. The gaming needs to be a second channel imo. There's no way there's a quarter crossover for your existing content. A quarter of your audience (and this goes for most channels) doesn't even click every video they are interested in. What would happen is people will routinely click less on your videos because you'd create a fractured audience, and then youtube will push your channel to everyone less and less. Your click through rates will plummet. It's a really bad idea. It will destroy what you've built here, irrevocably.

I have a couple of thoughts FWIW. First, since YT growth is not in any way linear, you seem pretty close to your 100K goal. Second, it strikes me that your engaging presentation style is a big asset and it would a shame to underestimate it. I think if you figure out the content, then the combination will work. I have been shown your videos several times over the past year and considered subscribing, but gaming content would be a turn off. What I'm really looking for in camera channels, that is I short supply, are camera reviews that put the cameras through their paces a bit more. Far too many of them just go out for a bit of a walk about town, get a few quick shots and read the spec sheets. Iphonedo does a really nice job of going beyond this, putting new pieces of kit into context against older kit, and testing the new features imaginatively in a way people need to know if they are doing real film making. I almost considered starting a camera channel myself since I think there is room to extend this further. Camera reviews that almost crossover into one-man film making tutorials would really be of value and I'm desperate to sub to anyone who would provide them. Hope you persevere with it - you are great at it.

This game is hard. Very few of us know, how much time goes into all this for creators and how mentally challenging it is....Bro, I watch because of you, not the subject matter. I think you should do what you want, how you want, and take the control back. God bless my friend.

You’ve done what we all (should aspire to) and that’s have a sub base that’s relational…not how to/transactional. People come back to see YOU, whether you’re doing camera reviews or a time lapse of watching paint dry, as long as you are answering specific questions, show and not tell, and keep them under 10 minutes, you build that base audience…expand on totally unrelated topics on other channels. I know you want to make videos about you and your interests, you kinda do have to play to the YT algorithm to some degree to rank in suggested and browse

Another vote for separate gaming channel. If I were to look at your metrics, I bet your best videos are the ones with lowest production value. Your strength is in the ad hoc “hold on, hold on, hold on - this thing can do what?!!! That’s fire!!!” Record more small moments with gear you’re testing and slap it together in a quick timeline rather than a long sit down with pros and cons. Oh, and I’m prob not the best person to listen to cuz I’ve got less than 1k subs in almost 3 years 😂. Thankfully I’m pretty good at real estate.

Sadly adding Gaming to this channel will probably affect it in a bad way. The gaming videos wont get as many views as your viewers are not subscribed for it. Then KZitem's algorithm will think you are putting out bad content because of those specific videos and will overall lower your reach on all up coming videos.

Stay with the channel format. Everyone's time is short and in demand. The current audience has subscribed and returns for camera related conversation. Maintaining, laser focus will achieve the 100k milestone for this channel. Saw those cameos of you on the CamMakey network. Good stuff.

Hi Terry big fan of your work. I used to work for a channel that had gaming, tech, entertainment etc all on one channel. The problem is the algorithm will get confused and viewership will drop. In addition video game ad revenue isn’t as high as cameras and other high end equipment so you may see your ad revenue drop. Just keep up the hard work, KZitem is really saturated and it’s consistency and personality that sells. You are doing some great stuff just keep going ad it. Add some bike and car stuff into the mix with photography and video. Always cool to see different subjects.

Dude thanks so much for doing this. I lost ALL motivation for my channel. When I started uploading Davinci Resolve content, it was a lot less saturated and I'm just burned out trying to keep up. Like you said, I barely have time and when I do, I am not into making videos at that point. I also have other intetests and hobbies. I am very close to just starting a new channel and putting more of my personality into it and letting whatever happens to this channel, happen. My opinion on what you should do? Upload video game content. the Everyday Dad channel went from cameras to phone and tablets and hes doing just fine. I'd rebrand my current channel but I'm still under 20k so I'll just make a new one haha

My piece of feedback: Camera technology is no longer interesting, because I feel we're at a point that we've already reached peak what most people are (or were) after. It doesn't really matter anymore what brand you go with, or which camera you choose, or which lens. Everything is so advanced that the differences are really small, and the prices have gone down as well so many of us have access to the gear we need or want. And because of this, the level of innovation isn't what it used to be, which in turn, makes for not many interesting things to talk about. Which gives camera creators two options: continue to cover cameras and slowly become irrelevant or pivot into other areas and risk losing audience they worked hard to grow. But for me personally, I follow people because sometimes it feels like I know them, like they'd be my friends if we lived closer by. Regardless of what kind of channel they are.

I'll say a separate channel, and you can reference each other. But don't stress much out, people come to your content mainly because of you, I know because sometimes I watch videos you are releasing that I have no really interest on the product but I'm curios to see what you (TERRY) has to say about it... it's all about you brother!

I’m on the same dilemma man, I wish the whole niche thing wouldn’t determine algorithm and the way people view you. Because people are complex and so are there interests, I’m thinking of putting it into 1 channel but I know that comes with the harder route of people probably won’t see videos the same

The market is heavily oversaturated. It’s insane the amount of work and time people put into showcasing products for million and billion dollar companies. Don’t get stuck chasing after that 100,000 number. It’s no indication of how passionate you are or how hard of a worker you are. That will reflect in the feedback from your subscribers. Just do you man. I hope that makes sense.

This is the 3rd video of yours I have watched so you are getting some push. 100k is a huge goal for a lot of people and you are pretty close. I have another channel that should be at 10k at the end of July, but I was on target to hit that goal last May so I know how frustrating it is. As a photographer I don't watch many photo channels like I did 5 years ago but changing from camera to gaming is a big difference of audiences. I understand how hard it is to grow a new channel also. From my understanding gaming channels are typically at the low end of revenue on KZitem. But I don't know anything about sponsored gaming ads and how well they pay.

Dude, if YT history has shown me anything.... don't "PIVOT" on this channel!! That road to 100k will definitely get longer!! Prime example, Kathryn Manning pivoted and now her channel tanked... just start a separate channel, keep your core audience with your main channel, and allow whoever to come over from your main, to your gaming!! Definitely don't do gaming on your main!!

I’m a proponent of doing what you like with your channel, because part of the reason people are here is because they like your style. That being said, if your YT channel IS in fact a major part of your income, I’d say be strategic. I’d focus on this channel being a camera channel. Maybe find some other gamers in your local area who want to start a gaming channel with you and use them and that content to supplement your first channel. Nobody cares what you film for your camera channel, film some gamers; camera peeps like me wanna see skin tones, dynamic range and sharpness etc, you can get all that from second channel. Same goes for cars and bikes, just use the other channels as subjects for the camera channel. Now, at this point you want a producer who can manage all three channels, cameras, gaming and auto. Maybe reach out to @MKBHD or other KZitemrs with good managers like @DannyGevirtz Another popular way to make quicker content is to record a weekly/bi weekly podcast and feature sections which can be broken out in to your weekly short form content. I’m in the UK, but happy to help or pitch in - Adam

It's # KZitem for sure, it seems to me KZitem doesn't want people like you or me to have a voice either. But what people and KZitem have to understand is the challenge of making all of this video when you have a life too and you have other things going on right or wrong. It's hard for anyone right now and me, as a homeless KZitem and a photographer trying to make a foundation. I don't get paid much from KZitem, but I still push content out. WHY? This is my channel and my voice, I do what I want. To help educate others takes time and love which youtube and some in the audience do not understand much. All the content I'd made was real and houseless and studio-less.

My opinion - you are the niche. Upload some gaming content to this channel, but keep uploading camera gear as well. I’m going through the same thing with my channel. I’ve accepted the slower growth of talking about a few different things, rather than sticking to one (men’s fashion or cycling). I wouldn’t mess with your paycheck, but remember that you Terry are the niche.

Here’s some tough love truth: You don’t own a business, you own a job. If you don’t show up to work for yourself you don’t earn what you want. It’s also tough hearing you say you’re disappointed in not reaching a goal of 100k because what that tells me is you’re only after the money which is calculated in views. That’s okay too btw. No shade on what you want out of all your effort. That said, when you say “but” right after saying you’re grateful for something it sounds like you aren’t as grateful as you may think. Don’t let KZitem and the money involved take away from your joy. I think if you want to start another channel and post gaming content because that would make you happy, go for it. If you’re secretly getting burned out on camera content, then just realize this is a job you created for yourself and you can quit. But quitting has its own consequences unless you actually turn this channel into business and hire your replacement and the employee(s) needed to run it for you.

I just subscribed from my channel account. Already subscribed on my personal account. 100k coming soon my G. I was also thinking about adding gaming to my channel but the only issue i would say it that you may loose viewers that are into you current content and not gaming. You may get to your 100k with the new viewers to the channel but i feel you'll get fewer views as people will be confused as to what your channel is about which will impact you revenue. Just a thought though. Maybe review gaming hardware on your current channel and then make a seperate channel for the actual gaming. Wishing you all the best my G.

Competition is high in almost every niche. I do outdoor content and it's become insane - everyone wants to monetize going on their adventures. It seems creators are burning themselves out trying to make videos with too much production. My best performing video (65K views) was recorded walk and talk style, edited in 20 minutes. My videos with the most time input perform the worst. People want authenticity and value. Maybe try dialling back the amount of time you invest in videos to optimize the cost/return ratio, then you can crank out a bit more volume and see which ones resonate with the audience?

Im a small YT channel and I subbed for the camera content however if you upload gaming videos i probably wont watch them but if you upload a camera video i will watch that one. I get where you are coming from i have a BBQ Channel that started off family vlogs and me cooking bbq. The BBQ content grew landed a deal and I ran with it. So now it feels like a huge fail when i upload a vlog of a trip and its a few views. I have also just started getting into filming weddings and events so I did same thing you did, should I start a new channel or just up load these to my current channel? I decided because im creating another business to create another channel. However i think with they following you have doing both on this channel could work especially if you merge the two sometime with how you are doing things.

I'm on the same crossroads bro. I know end of the year once I relocate to Utah will def change into more camping/overlanding/travel. I feel like I can incorporate that into photo/video but who knows. I sometimes feel like you can be a channel that does everything cause in all honesty. A lot of us who look into photography are looking at a way to make money, why not implement that into this channel? I feel like a lot of us see everyone doing only specific channels, why not break through and be a channel that is about Terry Warfield? you're subs will watch the content they want from your channel.

Do separate channels most youtuber branch off after 100k subs but their original channel keeps paying them. You can always niche down on this channel! I would like to see more interviews etc on this channel with not only sony but hey you have to delve into canon, panasonic etc people like comparison videos, color correction since you have luts. Don't let ur channel go, JUST FRICK'N LEVEL UP BRO!! PJ started 6/7 yrs ago and now has 1mil subs because he was entertaining! he did all cameras, traveled etc as he was growing. Now he has the big payout.

At a minimum, you have a working setup with Osmo to shoot cars and motorcycles for money. But, unfortunately, I have seen a lot of channels where cars just rolling. Or a guy with an electronic stabilizer just walking around the car. Against this "content", asking the owner to come into the frame and wipe the emblem of his car with a cloth would be a director’s find of the Spielberg level. Upd: ...And make paychecks not just from YT and brand deals, but from car/moto videos (individuals, detailing/tuning/wrapping shops etc.)

What type of gaming content are you considering making? Live gameplay with commentary, “Best Weapons to Use in Fortnite”, “Top 5 Keyboards for Gamers”, gear reviews, etc? You are more than a camera gear reviewer in my mind, when compared to a lot of other channels that stay in a certain personality mold that matches other channels. You’re definitely a “personality”, so even if you assume 100% of your subs are here for tech reviews, many probably only hit subscribe because it came from your voice, and not because you’re the best way they’ve found to learn about new cameras. It’s all about liking *you*. I think it depends on the content type you’re intending to make for me to vote on new channel vs. current, but in any case, I think if you don’t follow what your interests are, you’ll either lose in front of the camera with low metrics or behind the camera with less peaceful free time. You’ll do well at whatever you choose 🙏. If not, you can always sell Gerald’s computer, it sounds expensive 😂

Bro, I’ma keep it 💯 with you. I wouldn’t trust KZitem to carve out anything 😂 As far as a 1/4 of the audience being into Gaming, I’m not sure. Most Camera people ARE Camera people and the focus is building the Camera skillset, because this is a sacrifice in time for your audience over other Camera Channels. I can only give my 2 Scents but I wouldn’t want to risk losing a part of your audience just because Gaming is not their thing. You are so close to 100K why go down to 15,000 to 20,000 to build a gaming community. I say turn that 45 minutes per night into a channel versus personal entertainment… sure you have to carve out a quick gaming edit but it’s easier than losing a core audience and having to rebuild.
