One thing I like about NSP is he makes it very clear that what he says is his opinion. He doesn't try to frame it as a fact. Just because Breon was offended by it, doesn't mean it was an attack. It just felt like an attack to him because of his defensive behaviour

I’m a big fan of nick, watch him routinely every morning when I wake up. But nick is quite biased towards Chris, and doesn’t fully convey breons strengths and when that happens because nick is such an influence and he is a lot of people lens into the world of bodybuilding. When it’s a biased statement, the people who don’t see the classic physique from a balanced point of view develop biased opinions, and that effects the public’s opinion of breon. It’s more than just one KZitemr saying he prefers Chris, nick is really influential nowadays
@nathanlee3372

@@stephencurran2284 I get what you mean, but it is his opinion. I wouldn't really say he is biased because that implies that he prefers cbum because they have a friendship or he just likes cbums character more which would affect his opinion. However, he simply just prefers cbums physique and he makes that very clear. He gives his opinion on their physiques and states it as an opinion. There isn't a whole lot more he can do. If people decide to take everything he says as fact or they just prefer cbum because NSP says he does, then that isn't his problem, it is the delusional fanboys

I agree with you Breon really takes things personally when it really isn’t even that deep. I can understand how it feels to have any negativity spread about you, but how you react to that negativity shows who you really are, defensive coping methods appear as lack of self confidence.

@@nathanlee3372 preferring chris' physique in itself makes him biased towards breon because theres a subconscious focus on how chris beats breon, and that doesnt give an accurate representation of their matchup. My opinion is that Breon doesn't seem to realize that the only shot he beats Chris in is back double bicep. Chris has possibly the best side chest in bodybuilding currently, literally untouchable, just look at this - instagram.com/p/CHs49oWgbtn/ The ab and thigh is money for him as well, as his lats flare like crazy and he looks huge, something not many bodybuilders achieve in that pose. Throw the vacuum in as well and it's game over. While the bicep are a weakness for Chris (not as much anymore it seems), he still beats everyone in the FDB on shape alone - we all know that while it's called a front double bicep pose, it's really more of a shape pose. Aside from huge biceps, you also want to see the lats to waist tie-in, popping front delts that tie beautifully into the bicep, hanging triceps, and huge legs, all of which Chris has. The classic pose Chris beats everyone again because he's a good poser and his structure allows for many "classic shots", but that's a pose Breon could easily steal, however, he always seems to do a pose where he makes himself look small, I don't know why.

Classic is such a stacked class. Breon, Chris, and last year George had such different physiques. All were fantastic, but I think in the judges eyes, preference tends to outweigh details.
@cia7832
3 жыл бұрын
I think that's ok, classic has to have a different judging criteria to be classic. Otherwise it's just open with a weight cap. IMO the perfect classic division is one that scores based on how well the physique emulates 1970s era BB (bigger upper body, smaller legs, smaller shoulders/traps, softer conditioning) but I feel like that wouldn't be able to exist in the modern competitive climate so I'm happy with what we've got. Judges need to make it public what they're looking for in a physique though because last year the call could've been made for any of the top three
@lukeydukey20

@@cia7832 I agree. I love classic, and I think it’s what i picture in an ideal build. But the top 3 all look so different. Like George was the best bodybuilder.
