Doesn't seem that long ago you were a frustrated 'greenhorn' trying to get your feet set in the "fast 'n loose" style that is Texas (NLH) Poker. Good to see that you have gained the confidence (& made adjustments) that comes with the many hours of experience playing at that level, in those games, and against those player types. Looks like you are mixing it up, having fun, and making it count (in the black). Tenacity and grit are hard earned traits that you seem to have built into your style (life/poker). Great components to have in your arsenal. Well done and stay hungry!♠️♥️♣️♦️⛳🐅-in life, don't eat Rogue...he's seems like a good bud...😆

ok lex so let me ask you something. knowing bulldog is a loose agro player, do you think it would have been better to just call with the king-4 of diamonds? u said it yourself u were tilted after the hand but i say why are you tilted? u cant expect someone like bulldog to fold to your aggression i mean thats what he wants u to do is reraise. so why not call instead? if u hit top pair u can jam if hes got hes got it. understanding someone's strategy and adapting to it is the only way to attempt to beat it. when i play wannbes i go against what is in the book and win big pots.
@Hikingguy359

On last hand you should’ve bet 1/2 pot for $2,500 and you would’ve gotten paid. Your prior two pot sized river bluffs worked because of large sizing. A smaller bet when you rivered a flush is higher EV.

The other day, a guy raised, then someone 3 bet, I then 4 bet with 3-7 off. Original better goes all in, I call....he shows pocket aces and I lose......but hey, that's poker.

I am always in favor of the straddle, but the double and triple straddle is not great when the buy-in cap is too small. I realize this a match the stack, but a $200 straddle / $2,000 means a 3-bet pot pre = shove.

Can someone explain standard chip stacking. Is it personal preference how you stack your chips. What does the common poker player do usually?
@MatheusAcioli8

Always wondered the same
@ApShagster
6 ай бұрын
So the “standard” stack is in stacks of “20 chips”. That’s what casinos give to you when you buy chips. The only actual table rule with chips is your largest chips, must be presentable so players can have an idea of how much money you are playing with
@jackspinner4727

Stacks of 20 chips is the norm. Some players will go 150 with their stacks, but its basically good eudicot to 20 chips. Easier to count for other players. And as mentioned, all casinos and card rooms have the largest chips up front rule.

The way bulldog played last hand you should check or bet soft, he would probably check raise....
@patricks8973

The pocket 3s raise made really no sense, she bets the river, what does raising accomplish? With flush completing you only get called by better and all bluffs fold anyways. 2 pair isn’t calling a raise that big when the flush completes and all sets beat you. Either way nice win but the big raise with most players is fold or lose, no value on that to be had in my opinion

Just wanna start with im never one to tell anyone how to play or think im better then anyone. But i feel like you just call bulldogs A5 knowning he called a jam with 94o hes never folding mines well realize your equity hes never folding
@bobbykgb

I think raising with that set of 3s was a mistake. A bluff isn't going to call. A weak ace probably won't call. The only hand that calls you there is a flush, or higher set.

I watch all of your videos and you usually play really well. However, the K4 hand is the worst play I have seen from you. Bulldog went all-in with 94 and you said had been playing 70% of his hands. You knew if you reraised him, he was going to jam with just about anything.

We get it, you’re Thumbnail bating for the algorithm, but what you are getting is poker players who read your thumbnail, we get baited & realize your $20k cash out is only $3k profit, and now next don’t trust you. Next time we see your video, we ignore your suggestion & you lose poker player viewers. Be honest with the titles. Don’t click bait. I think you’ll benefit more in the end if you’re honest. “I’m in for $16k and I only cash out $3k, what did I do wrong.” -that’s a honest title.
