Please dispatch them. They raid so many songbird nests, not to mention waterfowl turkey nests. Opossums will also get into livestock feed and pass on diseases to horses. I appreciate you trying to be humane but please dispose of them.

I hope you are checking to see if the animals are lactating. If they have young, you shouldn't move them, but instead release them where they are trapped.
