Sweet Biscuit Sausage with Cocoa and Butter is a classic recipe from my childhood. It's the recipe we used to make dessert chocolate sausage when we were kids and it's the taste I remember all my life. #shorts
Ingredients (2 servings).
🔸Butter - 200g
🔸Sugar - 150-200g
🔸Cacao - 4 tbsp.
🔸Milk - 100 ml
🔸Fresh bread cookies - 400g
🔸Walnuts - 160g
👩🍳How to make:
1. Chop 2/3 of the cookies into fine crumbs and cut the rest into random pieces.
2. Chop walnuts with a knife in medium sized pieces. For a brighter flavor, you can pre-dry the nuts in a pan or in the oven.
3. Combine sugar, cocoa and milk in a suitable container. We put the pot on medium heat and constantly stirring bring it to a boil. Ideally the sugar should dissolve completely.
4. 4. Take the pot off the stove, add the butter and stir the frosting until smooth.
5. In portions, add the chopped cookies and nuts to the chocolate mixture and mix everything until homogeneous. Depending on the softness of the cookies, you may need different amounts.
6. Spread the resulting mass on a sheet of clingfilm, flatten and form a sausage. For better fixing, you can wrap the sausage in foil. If the mass is too dry and the sausage does not hold its shape, you can add a little milk. If the mass is spreading, you can add some more crushed cookies.
7. Put the sweet sausage in the freezer for 2 to 3 hours. Before serving, take it out of the freezer and let it thaw for 10-15 minutes at room temperature.
