how i make porridge that I enjoy ... take one sachet of quaker oats porridge, add a handful of your fav fruits ( i tend to add little bits of apple, banana, fresh blueberries, frozen blueberries, frozen cherries, frozen mango, frozen grapes and frozen summer berry mix) then add a good amount of concentrated squash ( i like the apple and blueberry or lemon) and then aa small amount of water (probably around 100ml) , pop it in the microwave for 5 mins and it turns into a more spongy porridge with bolder flavour and is more filling than sloppy/milky porridge .. you could always add chocolate or peanut butter too

My boyfriend is Italian and he always squeezes lemon juice over water melon before eating it, and somehow it tastes so much better?! (And the way you pronounce focaccia is correct! In fact, the "i" is silent, it only indicates that the "cc" before it is soft and not hard, as without the "i", the "cc" would sound like a "k". Hope that helps!)

nara isn't a tradwife, the term tradwife has been bastardised by leftist spaces, because a tradwife is a far-right housewife who doesn't work. Nara is a model and a content creator, and she also isn't far-right
@Viacer
Ай бұрын
I don't agree. A tradwife is not automatically "far right", nor is she "bad for women". My mum was a stay at home mum and she was very pro womens rights. I don't understand all the hate for tradwives. It is just a term for a woman who enjoys wearing vintage clothes and/or a stay at home mum. We do not hate on women wearing gothic clothes, why hate on those wearing 50's vintage?

@helenalee0613

Maybe she’s unrealistic to you because you’re living different lives? Not trying to come off as rude but someone cooking random things from scratch for their family all the time isn’t supposed to be realistic for most people. It’s content, it’s intriguing, probably entertaining content. I don’t get why people are so put off by her content especially when she isn’t forcing anyone to do what she does. If anyone feels guilty or put off by what she does I don’t think she’s the problem especially since she’s just making food from scratch. Again not trying to come off as rude And yeah I’d love to see her try making Korean food, that would be fun
@J.essika
Ай бұрын
@@helenalee0613 personally, i genuinely don’t mind what a person does with their content. Go all out guys 😅. For me,yes unrealistic. However some people on social media don’t use their discernment & end up actually trying to live up to some peoples lives & that’s when it gets me upset. Because like I said go all out guys personally I don’t mind, it’s when others start to believe that they should be living life according to social media that’s when it’s an issue for me. That’s all✌🏻🤍

Hi from Australia 🇦🇺I highly recommend trying steel cut oats, they are so chewy and delicious. I cook mine with a spoon full of brown sugar and soy milk but any milk of your choice is fine. Grace, I think you should try out this recipe. I think it might help you like porridge. Get some of the quaker sachets (easier for knowing oats to milk ratio) 1 sachet and oat milk to the line Then a big old scoop (tablespoon) of peanut butter 2 mins in the microwave Then add cacao powder, chia seeds and flax seeds (i eyeball it but maybe like a table spoon of each?) and a splash of maple syrup. I sometimes add some chopped hazelnuts too. Then give it a good stir. It's a lot thicker than the porridge you've made in this but dude I am obsessed with it.

I recommend a pinch of salt in your oats and cold milk on top before you eat it. You also might like chopped nuts and steel cut oats for a better chew and crunch. I feel like porridge/oatmeal is so personal that everyone else's version seems weird. It's something everyone makes their own way. I do it a million ways like with banana, peanut butter, chocolate, pumpkin, walnuts, brown sugar, any flavor i want really, but i always always pour cold milk on top before i eat it. It's a crucial step.
