It’s crazy just how much shit was acceptable back then. Like workplace harassment is still a thing now but back then it was considered an “annoyance” or some bullshit women just had to put up with.

Both of theses adds would not be allowed nowadays, the first add was set in the 80's with the faux pas on the sexual harassment, this just wouldn't be accepted theses days, in the second add probability early 90's was strongly stereotyping the roll of the woman in a married relationship, i.e lokking agter the kiddies, doing the shopping and rushing home to cook her husbands tea, whilst he works to support his family. Though there is nothing wrong with this in a general sense but there is more diversity now with alot of woman been the main wage earner also long gone are the days where in most cases one wage is nowhere near enough to support at household.

But they were generally happier more chilled times for everyone back then in the 1980's. We just live in a depressing miserable passive aggressive authotarian society now, where everybody takes offence at everything, and because of that bigotry has only risen. Not just with racism towards non-whites, lgbt and misogyny etc, but with misandry and racism against white folk too, mainly falsely generalising and gaslighting white straight men. So many double standards today.
