You didn't almost die. Your flare for the dramatics is exhausting to watch. It would be great to watch a real episode where you're actually learning about the country you are in. Examples are their food, Junkanoo band, and the government. To name a few. Every time I go to the Bahamas, I sail to the outer family islands and really talk to the people and listen to their stories. So much more interesting and fulfilling. This click bait stuff is just irritating at best.

I spent the month of January 2024 in Nassau, another week in March and that's where I am now. January was the month with the travel warning. Nothing to worry about for tourists. The RBDF had armed personnel on many street corners. The gangs or whatever know the pain the Bahamian government will bring down on there heads if they harm a tourist, or any foreigner really. Most tourists don't go more than a block or two from the coast anyway. I believe it's as safe as anywhere. Shout out to the Dog Man and his son in Masons Addition!

I wish you would have gone into more detail about your dinghy situation. It helps us fellow boaters to understand what not to do or what to be aware of while cruising the Bahamas. I'm curious if it had something to do with not being able to anchor near Junkanoo beach? Again, more context would be appreciated.

Bro you've been working on movies .. super rich..money ..safe .. polite.. cultered etc.. people with resources and means..You seem like really nice guy and I wish you safety and all the best but you are bot from the streets or the hood and it shows.. You are a target ..look around you .look where you are.. Stick with your fixer. dont go out at night etc.. Do touristy things and chances are you will be fine.. You are on a huge journey and I wish you all the best , stay safe.. There is nothing fun to see in violent poverty ridden spots.. no good can come from it.. Your journey without any external input or location is a dangerous and arduous adventure... Keeping your boat seaworthy stocked and operational should keep you busy enough to stay out of trouble..If your somewhere where everybody is poorer than you has nothing has nothing to lose and your covered in travelers checks cameras phones etc..You are the target.. Rich!?? Dude I'm a true vagrant of the seas at this point. I have not had a real shower in over 7 months just ocean showers.. My days onset are a distant memory at this point. I'm thousands of miles away from any movie studio still. At one point I may have to return to that life. For now it's long days at the helm alone out on the ocean and endless hours at a key board. Sometimes I wonder why the hell I'm out here. Then some days it's like a dream..

I live in nassau, bahamas it isn't as dangerous as you make it out to seem as most of the conflicts are simply gang fights. If you aren't involved in a gang then it's safe, the only thing is simply poachers that come from different countries to steal our fish in which the fish and some supplies may be confiscated and then they will be turned over to the us or sum. Lived here all my life aka 18 years. No offense but if you are a tourist I would advise you not go into certain areas such as fox hill or deep into Nassau because in certain parts that would simply be your fault even if you don't know due to the amount of gang wars etc. Also for the murders, people believe its simply because hit orders sent from prisons or something however that is also gang related to some extent, if I remember correctly 2 individuals died in a crossfire however they don't go randomly targeting the residents here, as I mentioned before its mostly gang related. Also about police corruption, it has that everywhere you go not specifically solely in Nassau, police are in gangs you just don't know nowhere is perfect. The vid is good however at all countries you have to be ready for the worse things to occur not only in Nassau but everywhere, I hope you stay safe which will most likely be the case since as I said before most of the deaths or assaults are mainly gang related however I wouldn't put it above some individuals here. The bahamas is amazing to live in the and I love my country, going swimming, basketball with friends and so much other stuff

great vids man. really enjoy your content. we have to sharpen your character judgement skills though. these people are down and out and they all have some type of agenda no matter how nice they seem. i knew that key guy was bad news from the very start. these people in these islands are nothing but hustlers. of course a guy who is part of the problem isn't going to say there is a problem. its like a vampire telling you they won't suck your blood. whether it be for handouts or tips or something worse like robbing you, they're always looking for something, and they strike wheh the opportunities is just right. even if its not right away. especially (white) tourists. its how they get by. they're not doing it out of the kindess of their heart. it may even be something as simple as being on KZitem to promote themselves but theres always a motive. that key dude is no good. stay away. keep your guard up man when you go these places and be safe out there. align yourself with good people and good things will follow. look forward to the next episode. cheers!

As a Bahamian I don't get why these guys and taxi drivers always drive tourist through the low income areas (ghetto) giving the impression that's how all Bahamians live and everywhere is a ghetto. Only a small segment of society lives like that. Like show off the middle and upper class areas like Blair, Bluehill heights, Winton, Venetian, Yamacraw to name a few.
