He wasn't that famous during this film. This movie came out in 1970. Jack Nicholas was the Joker in Batman (1989). He was definitely famous when that movie came out. I think the Shinning (1980) really put him on the map. No matter what movie he has a certain charm.

They missed the best part. ‘ chicken salad sandwich , hold the chicken’ she says ‘ you want me to hold the chicken?’ Jack says ‘ I want you to hold it between yer knees!’ She gets mad and says he has to leave. Jack gets up with the two girls ( who are going to Alaska) and says ok and clears the table by swiping everything off onto the floor. Classic Jack lol.

@@RealMTBAddict I know. I was commenting on how good he was in cuckoos nest. It was the first movie that I managed to sneak in to see as I was under age to view it. I had just turned 14, it had 18 rating. I’d seen The Last Detail previously but Cuckoos Nest was the movie that made me a fan from a very young age.

When this happens it's often your cook. The cook puts regulation on what they won't do because if everyone orders these extras then it adds time to the routine of cooking from the menu. Throws off the choreography of a pre set menu.

Really… just make it. Sounds like you’ve spent all of about 5min in a kitchen making Ramen. Ok they’ll make whatever you want but it’ll cost ya. This kind of expectation is probably why diners now charge 17.95 for an omelette.

You can tell he's 5% under the point at which he loses his temper, but still in total control. Really disciplined acting. It would've been so natural to get snappy or allow his voice to rise just a little, but the apparent calm makes it seem so reasonable yet...menacing.
