this is so true, every map except sunny meadows and brownstone highschool (to some extent) is in perfect condition and both those are large maps. We need a small map with a more "abandoned and falling apart" vibe to it
@FeixMan

Map variety could be considerably better across the whole board in general. This is a horror game, after all, yet so many locations typical for horror are not present. No victorian house? No gothic church? No overgrown graveyard? You could even have some outliners like an abandoned mall.
@BRNardy
Жыл бұрын
I understand the purpose of it, since you're hired by home owners to take ghosts away from active family homes, not abandoned ones, so it wouldn't make sense to go to places that no one's living at. However, by that logic, it also doesn't make sense for you to go to Sunny Meadows and Brownstone High School, since they're both abandoned locations, and yet we all go there often, don't we? From *_my opinion,_* I would love to see some abandoned houses for sure because they would be 10x scarier than the regular ones hehe Give me abandoned houses, ruined castles, old churches with graveyards, abandoned mansions, creepy old hotels and I'm down for all that

Under learning new things about the game, something I tested and learned recently is related to cursed hunts. For people who don’t know, cursed hunts are longer and set the grace period to one second. What I learned is that this includes if you have zero grace period. Now there isn’t a point to doing this as you lose more points to the cursed object than you gain from the zero grace period, but it’s a little quirk.

Need to be careful of shades in insanity mode. They have approximately 50% chance to succeed when attempting a ghost event at the start instead of the usual 0%. An early ghost event decreases the likelihood of a shade, being that they are uncommon and a shade will fail half of them, but it doesn't rule out a shade like in the other modes. Especially since the activity is going to be a bit higher since your down 25% sanity.

Did you have multiple candles in the room? Or maybe some candles + lighter? I've read that, if you have enough deployed candle light (i.e. not in hand), sanity drain stops. I keep meaning to test if it's true and if so what candle density is required to stop sanity drain, but I'm a but slack. I'll do it one day.

Im confused about the onryo cuz ive had 3 candles right round a crux and it blew all 3 out 1 after another. Everyone online says 3 can=1 C.Hunt but ive gotten it wrong so many times before. I think what we actually have is a CHANCH it will hunt when it blows out a candle cuz ive also had an onryo hunt right at 100% san and thought it was Demon but left and it was Onryo.

I watched a lot of people play before I played the game myself, so I knew all about evidence and hiding spots. I doubt I was the only one.

I called the mimic one. Then that guy in chat started asking about mimic. And I knew I wasn't alone. I kept shouting at the screen. "Check for orbys!"

First game. I had a Yurei do that like 4 times on ridgeview before but i didn’t realize it was using an ability so i thought it was an Onryo cause it kept blowing candles

Instead of mega challenges every 1000 levels you could do prestige challenges every prestige.

8:00 Small chance? I thought it’s always a shade model if it’s a shade. For me it is one of good checks for ruling out other ghosts if I think it’s a shade.

In 14k 24x challenge it was Hantu and then Hantu-Deo Mimic. Now you get Deo and (Hantu?)Mimic for 15k 24x. I mean, this game knows something.
