In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using Predator with a Treasure+ focused strategy! Predator is an interesting character with some fairly big flaws, namely how long his skills take to cast. This can be easily mitigated by Manatech 3 and/or a high skill cooldown and attack speed Arachne shrine. However, once you get past the flaws, Predator is a very solid character who is extremely capable of outputting lots and lots of damage. He's good at both Crit Items and Raw Damage archetypes, which this run is the latter. That said, the skulls are a small part of this run's notability, because this is a Treasure+ run. Treasure+ is...something, to say the least. The inscription enhancement itself is fairly mild, it gives you 5% damage amplification for every treasure inscription you have. Powerful, but not blatantly broken, so why do I avoid it? The second aspect of this enhanced inscription, the items you get from taking it. Taking Treasure+ gives you a choice between three items, all powerful in their own right with Treasure/Treasure inscriptions to further your amplification, but their other aspects are far more powerful. They give you an extra copy of each inscription you own, which if you have Collection Desire gives you such ridiculous damage scaling that it's unreasonable. Not to mention the damage you get from some of these inscriptions on their own, it can get downright ridiculous, such as on this run I gain nearly 600% magic damage just by taking the Treasure+ item. It really is an unreasonable enhanced inscription, which is why I never take it, but...sometimes you gotta roll in the filth with everyone else, right? So, that's today's run, Predator with Treasure+! Joined by Dark Paladin, can we overcome the shame of Treasure+ and show off how ridiculous this strategy is?
