Much different because a black person not wanting to be in a band with white people probably comes from them wanting to be with people who have similar cultural experiences as they do where as a white person not wanting to be in a band with black people usually comes from predetermined racist ideals they have about black people

Apart from her racist answer, I will say that I saw the band in Nashville and my friends and I left early because they were so bad. Good music, terrible stage presence and crowd interaction. One of the most awkward lead singers I’ve seen. Young culture who opened for them should have been the headline. Much better performance.

So you can appropriate OUR style, and OUR dress and OUR music and OUR slang and even OUR way of talking, but you dont want to include us. This is like Elvis or Eminem saying, "I dont want to participate with black people" Just ugly and racist.

I was blown away because they sounded like the girl version of Belmont and all the comments were just "black girl singer good". I'm gonna pretend like I never saw this video because I do like their music.
