On our 2024 summer holiday I took my folding race bike with me and conquered the surrounding area with it as usual. And what a surprise. On the second day between St. Urban and Zwattendorf in Carinthia/Austria I discovered the perfect S-curve. For thousands and thousands of miles I've been riding my bikes to finally find the mother of all s-curves. I can definitely recommend to go there and try it for yourself. Since I have no GoPro or similar camera with me I had to take all shots with my IPhone handheld and more or less go through the corner with one hand on the handle bars :)
This curve is especially nice because you can accelerate, approach and enter in full speed, fly through the "S" and fully accelerate on the exit because of the gradient increase at the end. A little big extra thrill everytime in the middle because you just can't see around the corner for oncoming traffic 😉.
I took the first shot at 5:30 in the morning because of the nice light. the other ones during daylight.
