Nice spot to unwind , great video Dave it wasn’t to much of a mess . I thought the hops would go in the top. Maybe some day I’ll up my game and buy something like that. Cheers to you and the wife.

Thanks mate👍 That beer at the pub cost me £8.20 for two pints! It was only 3.8% ABV but was very nice. I came home and the wife and I had two more pints at 5% ABV for £1!!! No competition really😂😂😂

Hello from Newfoundland.I use the hop bong as well. I found it very easy to use and certainly less messy. Great video .

Thank you sir. I am totally new to this pressure fermenter so I am not sure about it all yet but I will keep going and hopefully get better👍👍👍

Looks a right scientist does that David, but i am sure perseverance will win in the end. That pub looks cracking, 30 mins from me so will give it a go. Cheers 🍺

Good job, David, Top tip for you, I bought a frizbee to put underneath to catch any overflow when opening the yeast collection pot when I had the Fermzilla 👍

That's a great idea! I said to Heather we should put a news paper under it for next time. Do you put gas in the bottom port every day to rouse the hops?

It can be worse. I've put the gas spunding valve on the beer out disconnect and woke up the next day with the fermenting beer all over the floor. I now use the keg king that comes with stainless steel ports that cant be mixed up. I still use the kegland but put gas in before I connect the gas spunding valve to make sure its on the right connector.

Looked like a very nice place to go for a de-stress walk and it didn't look too much like you didn't know what you were doing so it can't have been too bad 👍. Stay safe and well .SIR, and keep us up to date on how you are doing, I suspect that everyone wants to know and are wishing you all the best for a full recovery, cheers, Schnuz.

I think you did a great job it’s always messy getting them off, I now blank it off and just use my hop bong unless I’m collecting yeast ( that I don’t do very often ) great vid as always cheers 👍🍻

Once you have the hops at the top of the fermenting wort, why are you comcerned about them dropping to the bottom. Once they pass theough the wort the are releasing their oils and flavour, which is the hole point. Hop pellets will sink to the bottom when it is cold crashed and pressurised. If you want them to drop slower, do it warmer witj lower pressure. But you wouldnt want.more than 5 days contact.
