Brilliant. A masterstroke appointment. GON is intelligent and meticulous. Wolves don't know it yet, but have the brightest young English coach in football. What he has done, on and off the pitch since arriving 48 hours before the season began - is remarkable. He was nominated for coach of the year last season, don't be surprised to see similar recognition this season. Fosun need to back him in the summer, with a full preseason and kick on

Wolves have got a number of really talented players that are capable of a much higher league position. Lost 4 games out of the last 15 in all comps. If he'd managed to get his stamp on the team sooner they'd be chasing Champs League positions at this point. Some great football they're playing atm. You've got to say fairplay to him and his staff for what they've done at that club in such a short time

@@Motivation_Editz07I agree with you , you look at our second goal, Gomez wins the ball just outside our area, busts a gut to get into the spurs area, and Hwang is about 30 yds behind, jogging , and missed a golden opportunity.
@FYCH45
8 ай бұрын
@@allantaylor8449 But if one player is busting a gut, it is better if some of the others stay a bit behind, as opportunities might arise where they are. You don't want all the players trying to get into the penalty area, as they may well get in each other's way. Also, players are not machines, they need to conserve energy. If you see another player busting their gut to get a golden opportunity, it may be much wiser to conserve your own gut until a time when it is really needed.

GO is doing far far better than anyone thought he would do. We are so well organized now. Our defense is really good. Who thought he would do a better job than a manager with experience from Real Madrid and Spains international team? We were even without Cunha today.

Incredible performance, really soft goal to give up but he's working on the daft suff. This is just going to get better! Must admit I would have like to see Fraser come on for Sarabia but that will come I'm sure. People need to stop talking about Europe, England is where we need to concentrate as we don't have a big enough squad for extra games. Come on me babbies!
@thewholeshebangandsome75
8 ай бұрын
It appears GON doesn't yet trust Fraser. It's probably without the ball he has concerns with and his positional play with the press. If anyone goes missing or doesn't execute their role correctly without the ball - it'll be a cricket score. The front 3 and midfield executed the press perfectly. Fraser is talented, but that number nine role has evolved and is much more than just finding the onion bag in modern football

I really had my doubts about him when he came to us but he’s got these players playing as a team ,they play for each other ,and there the fittest wolves team I’ve seen for years ,they work hard every second on the pitch,and that’s all the fans ever want to see ,yes we’re not the best team in th league but if they give everything you can’t ask for more than that ,he’s a very positive manager and you can see how this rubs off on the players ,long may it continue

The way Chelsea and Spurs set up, actually suits our style. We play low block transition football. We're happy to allow the opposition the ball, restrict big chances, draw them into their offensive third then bingo. The winning goal vs Spurs is a fine example. GON still needs to find solutions against low block teams like Brentford. Until then, the table doesn't lie and Europe via the league is a stretch. Wolves are overachieving and it's awesome
