Once you move out of Ghana, the likelihood of spending the rest of your life abroad is high. My advice is, live well, eat well, take good care of yourself. Don't toil to go built mansions in Ghana that you hardly live in to enjoy. You cam build a beautiful 2bedroom house to accommodate yourself and family when you visit. I have friends abroad who send money home on a monthly basis for their home upkeep, security etc etc. Monies that one can invest abroad to enjoy a good life. Siiiiiiister I love ur sense of humour wae.

Very true when we instill our culture and language in our kids they get it very well. When my 12yrs old son calls me from the school office he speaks twi because he doesn't want them to know what he's telling me. Even though he's not very fluent he tries to pass the message across very well and I'm always proud of him 😂😂❤

Too funny but 💯 true narrative. Love her sense of humor. I can relate to her about 90%. We grew up in the same neighborhood and live in the same city, the attitude is similar and people misunderstand us sometimes. All because we are not afraid to speak the truth. It is what it is.

Sister you've said it all but I think it depends on the individual and how the person lives his/her life . There are individuals who never support in anyway . I think the funeral expenses is too much . Let's celebrate our own lifes whilst living. Celebrating life after death means nothing. Thanks for sharing. 😊

She's 100% right about how some Ghanaian are living in Europe. All that they care about is doing properties back home but not adopting what is good and right, which would helped them to have a good and a happy leaving in Europe culture wise and everything xx

The mistake most of we Ghanaians make about language is wrong.. When we are writing anything we use English. When it suits us. In Ghana the official language is English. Nigerians never complain about the language yet they have over 250 languages. When you go to the French-speaking countries nobody complains about the French language they speak. Greeks, Chinese Italians, Germans etc have never be colonised so why expecting them to speak the language, yet they fall short when interacting with an American. They wish they could speak it. Are you not lucky as a Ghanaian in a foreign land at least you could understand the natives on your arrival? At least if you are given something you could read and understand it. How amazing is that. If Chinese arrive in America he has to learn the language if he doesn't understand it. We have too much short falls. No wonder the Nigerians have taken the lead in American because they could express themselves. This is why most Ghanaians can't move forward at where they are in English speaking countries

What this sister is saying makes sense. Smart and frugal lady! I believe in her smart shopping principles! However, the official language of Ghana is English and the official language of Mexico or Honduras [for example] is Spanish so Ghanaians are doing exactly what the Spanish people are practicing! I know many Ghanaians in the USA who have taught their kids their local dialect. Although they cannot speak the language very well but they understand what is being said which is ok.

Yeah that’s how is shop too. I mostly buy stuff during sales . My white friend taught me that way back in Ghana 🇬🇭 so it has really helped me. I put on expensive things that I buy at low price so people think I am rich which I don’t have anything .
