you could use a diffrent wheel as flywheel, the motorcycle wheel is nice but creates quite a bit of drag. you can use slope pieces and reduce as much as possible sharp angles on the intake (non vacuum side) for better performance. you can use slope pieces (either 1x1 or 1x2) to slightly anticipate the phase of the valve, not oriented towards the exaust (vacuum side) but orientated towards eachother to create sort of a V profile. hope all this helps and good luck

little addendum: if you can, try to balance the crankshaft, reducing vibrations will reduce friction and increase power output (if you want the explaination: since dynamic friction is (force perpendicular to the surface)X(coefficient of dynamic friction) eliminating or at least reducing the force on the crankshaft (due to the huge acceletations at TDC and BDC) reduces friction) also oil helps

My tip is: Build 2 cilinders engines. (1 cilinder engine work 50% of full rotation ,but 2 cilinder run on 100%)

what I did with mine was I put a wheel in the front of the smaller wheel and made it so when I move a lever, the wheels engage and an arm with weight gets lifted. My vaccuum engine lifted 1 1/2 feet with a large wheel at the end and the results worked for me

my recommendation is to use as minimal parts as you can. medium long crank, short crank arm and a vertical set-up. a 1/8 pound flywheel does the trick. I guarantee you it'll make you super impressed

wait u didnt know u can just get it to run with more airflow? damn mine is a bit more ahead in tech then i ran a 4 brick gap of exhaust (the intake is the one u called exhaust because it sucks not blows) and ran what u had on intake
