So happy to see you get into FPV. I'm not the most experienced pilot, but I feel like I would be rude to not give a couple of tips(maybe you already know them) to help you have a smoother journey. 1) Use mr-30 connectors between your esc and motor for solderless motor swapping in the field. 2) Get a smoke stopper, and always use it when testing freshly soldered electronics. 3) Make sure everyone else has disarmed their drones before you plug a battery into your drone, as your video transmitter could overpower their signal and cause them to crash. 4) Never leave charging lipo batteries unattended, as they are extremely dangerous. 5) Program your ESC to beep loudly when you flip a designated aux switch on your transmitter, and you can find a lost drone much easier. 6) Keep spare parts in your bag, such as arms, props, motors, antennas, tpu mounts, or anything else that might get destroyed in a crash. 7) Waterproof your electronics with conformal coating or silicone, and you can sit inside of your car and fly your drone in the rain, which is fun af. 8) Always try to keep yourself as far as possible from other people because drones fail randomly, for seemingly no reason sometimes, and fall out of the sky without warning. 9) If you're going to try for a mid-long range flight, consider putting a GPS on your drone and programming it to return to home if you lose signal from your transmitter. 10) Save your videos. You can never get them back if they get deleted, and I promise you will want to see them again down the road. 11) BONUS TIP - Enjoy yourself. Don't stress to hard on improving, because you will miss out on the fun that comes from learning. I'll sub to your channel and watch your journey unfold. Dont give up. Good luck dude!

Looks like a great first day 😎 My only recommendation is to land when your battery is 3.5 volts. Not just dipping down to 3.5, but when it barely recuperates back up to 3.5.

Happy model is the way. Grab yourself a directional/patch antenna for the goggles I like to run one of each. Great beginner setup man!

shoutout to your mates for recommending the transmitter and goggles. now you only have to change the black circular polarized antenna to a good quality patch antenna and you have a solid setup with even more range.😉

Yeah really, great setup for a start, especially the bassline, I started with a mob 7 and went through about 10 frames before realizing I should’ve started on carbon outside

Nice first flight. I'm guessing you either put in time on the simulator or were already a good line of sight pilot to fly so well in acro mode. FPV flying is an amazing hobby. It quickly became my favorite thing to do over the past two years.

Havent tried the Bassline, but I can tell you the Emax Nanohawk X flies like a 5" and can take a beating. Great choices in gear. How much sim time before IRL? If your pulling rolls right off the rip, you got this!

Welcome to the hobby you will love better flyer than on my first pack 5yrs ago . Remember more uptilt on the camera faster you go . And change antenna on drone to circular polarized for full video strength. Wait until you change your goggles to fatshark style then you will really go crazy 🤪 just the you came in at a great time way more affordable than when I started almost a year 7+ months of saving with wife help 1200 💸 to get started but can't complain people spent more than that when this first started. Welcome happy flying my pilot name ILoveMyWifeFpv ✌️ ☮️
