Oh, the treasure that is in that room! Auntie and Mom share such beautiful cultural tales and fables. It is a pleasure to just soak in their history, recollections and wisdom. The food looks so comforting and wholesome. Tabitha, you are such a respectful and appreciative soul who will keep the culture alive! Beautiful, touching vlog!

That food is nutritious that's why people in Kitgum have the nicest skin. The way Aunty Consy introduced her self🤣🤣🤣 she is so proud of her age.

Girllllll being home is just the best, I recently went to South Sudan. By the way, Acholi sounds so similar to Jieng(Dinka).

Home is Home!!!!!!!! Did you encounter any trouble in Sudan because of what's going on? Glad you made it home safe and sound. I didn't know Acholi and Dinka are similar. There are actually Acholis in Sudan. I hope to make it there some day.

@@TabithaLaker hey girl so the current war is in sudan that's North now a separate country, I was in South Sudan. Yes a lot of words sound very similar but ultimately its the connection between the indigenous Nile Valley groups thats why so it makes sense. I've heard Acholis speaking in South Sudan and the resemblance is crazy lol.

hahah, I love your auntie so much. She is such a delightful storyteller. That 'soda in the village' story made my night. The moment she started recounting it, it captivated me, and I could not wait for its ending. I laughed so much. She's so awesome. I love the energy between your mother, your auntie and yourself. Bless you all.
