Yeah I'm not sure what's going on here but it works of of your skin tone(and veins), your eyes, and your hair. If one of those don't "fit" then she's not doing it right. You can also have traits from one group while belonging in another, but your season should still flatter everything. I mean some colours even if they are in your season aren't necessarily recommended, it's like even if you're a winter wearing "true black" isn't going to be the best idea if you have a lot of wrinkles or blotchy skin at the moment, since black has a tendency to highlight such things. But there should be plenty of other colours to wear in your season if it's right. Also who tf does "hair colour" during a season colour analysis? Sure if it's dyes they might give you recommendations but this doesn't seem like the way the system was designed for.
@js-tw3vs

@@HyattHyatt3179 I just really appreciate that you could speak with such intelligence about the subject. Most people don't care. You're right, but since it's all based in color theory, as long as olive tones are accounted for in the analysis system you're using, it shouldn't matter if you don't fit perfectly into a season. The guidelines should still help. For example, I've recently realized I'm between soft autumn and soft summer, because I'm a fair olive. Black is a hard to wear color, and age might be an additional factor to consider in future systems.

what I really concluded from watching asian makeup types is that most of them lean into cool tones, that's why we thought it was flattering. The real thing though is that it is the low-saturation makeup that brings out the best features. it might look cool-toned at first, as low-saturated makeup colors look pale/not as bright as the pigmented ones. but yea, if you'll see the shades especially 3CE, most of them are actually warm tones! only less saturated! and it is amazinggg!!! especially if you don't have strong facial features like sharp jawlines to support your strong makeup. what i learned is that if you have flat bone structure/fuller face, is that wearing low saturated makeups will suit your face 100x better than pigmented ones...

no, it's just a suggestion about colour. colour theory is really interesting and a super hard thing to learn, and as an artist it's about the same thing you can say about character design. obviously, people aren't fictional characters to be drawn. theyre just applying colour and character theory to people, as they're paid to do. thats literally their core profession, they will tell you your colours based on your features, and you go home and decide whether to apply them. PLUS! as said, the person in the video doesn't like how blue looks on her cause it makes her look "pale" - another person could come in and think the pale look is better. it's literally your choice and your money
