The video shows my first visit to Georgia back in the summer of 2022. Post pandemic, travel starts to pick-up, so I fly to Georgia. The country is located in between Asia and Europe, hence called, transcontinental country. It is part of the Caucasus region, where high mountains are located. Bounded by the Black Sea to the west, Russia to the north and northeast, Turkey to the southwest, Armenia to the south, and Azerbaijan to the southeast.
Sakartvelo is the name of the country locally. The Georgian currency is called Lari (GEL) and its capital city is Tbilisi.
I traveled to Georgia visa-free, because I have a GCC resident (KSA). But in general visa is required (E-visa) to enter as for my nationality. Georgia is not that expensive and wont break the bank when you visit. It has more of European vibe and atmosphere. The people are hospitable and the Georgian cuisine is superb.
