@@rwelch76 hey Bob about as simple as I could have made my swing. It accomplished everything necessary to hit the ball consistently and in the direction I desired. No need to look anymore in that area, now it’s a matter of the short game and how I can make it as simple as the full swing.

Excellent common sense video, Bill!!! I think we as golfers often struggle with how easy the golf swing can be and over complicate things
@Wooduck

@@fptrojans09 I agree with that assessment Phil. For me what you saw on the vid was brass knucks down to the nitty gritty only thing I personally need to do to play golf. It’s simple if we can bring ourselves to the reality of what is really simple for US not someone else.

Right on Bill. Everyone has a different range of motions and we have to adapt different ways of getting “our “ swings to get to the same point that really matters. I see players that I would love to copy but because of my limited physical capabilities can’t. I think that’s one of the reasons why we search for different ideas on how to put different concepts from teachers and even other students to create “our “ own swing. Just wanted to say thanks to you and everyone else who watches and comments on your vids. It’s a wonderful game and I think that part of the enjoyment comes from constantly trying to learn!!

@@AnthonyDavis-ok1od couldn’t of said it better Anthony, if we learn what works for us we have the game under control but if we keep saying what we do wrong it’s hard to find what does work.

Good video Bill. Like we talked about this is where I’m sorta stuck now that I’m a middle age guy not as athletic as I used to be. Go more upper core with a hand/arm swing, or constantly work on flexibility and use more rotation which is definitely more accurate. But man those days when your timing is on with an arm/wrist throw the power is addictive.

@@travisjaggers2114 that’s the problem Travis, we have those elusive days but they can’t be maintained on a consistent day to day of playing bases. I don’t hit the ball as far as what you’re describing, but I hit it far enough and extremely straight ALL the time. No looking in the woods or worrying about water hazards or sand traps just pick the club that will carry the distance I’m wanting to hit and the area I want it to land. Now that’s fun and puts very little stress on the game and no stress on the body. You will find it once you realize what I just explained and when that happens real change happens and your confidence will just get as big as a tree 🌲. Thanks my friend you can do it because I’ve seen your motion.
