I have an Extreme with the Grizzla fairings and I got the Banana Pads by Teprides off of Etsy. I’m a big guy and got the large, firm compound, with custom colors for about $130. Very similar to Grizzla flow….durable, high quality, and comfortable. Highly recommended! I have ridden a wheel with Grizzla flow pads and I couldn’t tell any difference between mine and theirs. The difference in the end was that I paid about $100 less. My wheel has taken about four tumbles, and besides a few scuffs they’re in the same shape they were from day one.

One brilliant thing unmentioned with Grizzla's is the grooves they designed into the underside of the toe pad. When jumping the grooves grab the topside of your shoes toe box area, helps keeping them from sliding out. So kudos to you Grizzla guys, great addition!

Nice review! Pretty much my only complaint with my flows are that the reflectors are pretty much all missing after many spills on the trails, hah! gonna have to order a new set and secure them in with some glue or something.

I have both Grizzla Bigs and Kinetic 2.0s. I personally like the Kinetic Pads better, just feel much more comfortable and allow me for greater control. One thing I should have skipped on is the bite system on the jump pad; I am not getting the pedals so makes no sense and no teeth would have been easier to clean and maybe even jump with. Thanks for the video. Oh and I find it amazing that both top pad manufacturers are from Poland 🇵🇱!

My grizzla flows suck. I don’t know if i just git a bad set. I bought the large set for my Sherman-S and have torn the front throttle pad from the factory applied velcro, under hard throttle a couple times. I find them to soft and not supporting enough. It feels like they are ment to look nice and feel soft on bare shins. However I ride with gear so the squishy feel is not helpful for me. For what they cost i wouldn't buy another set. I prefer nearly all the others you mentioned

They had an issue with a batch of Velcro at one point, especially with some pad colours (the pigment affects the stickability a bit). Mine was coming off as well. Messaged them about the issue and they sent me replacement Velcro. Perfect since then!

I think the point of the squish is to give a loose feel but still have access to power if you need it - As you torque down you'll move the point of contact up the pad, increasing the torque applied to the EUC. If they were solid the curved shape wouldn't comply as much and you'll need to apply more force to get the same acceleration, since you'll be applying the force closer to the axle (and therefore applying less torque) That being said, i'm still in the process of printing my own pads and working out how soft I want them... so take what I say with a grain of salt :)

Can't really receive something for free from a company and also have a review that is honest and unbiased. Getting free stuff will bias the review on a unconscious level you just can't control, it is the reason why sales guys give away free lunches and stuff to clients.

So the grizzla pads are better than the kinetic pads just because they are softer?
@WheelGoodTime
9 ай бұрын
They have approximately the same softness, but I found that the Grizzla's just are comfortable in nearly every possible position, whereas with kinetics they take a lot of finagling and adjustment before finding the perfect fit. And, I know it's a subjective thing, but I prefer the look of the grizzla flow pads. Either way, the V2 kinetic pads are still outstanding.

Is it actually Velcro brand or a generic hook and loop used.
@WheelGoodTime

On the Grizzlas, it's hard to say. I believe it's actual Velcro brand - and if it's not, it's a high quality equivalent and they are very similar to the "actual" Velcro hooks.

Nylonoves are good and are more adjustable, agreed. But somehow, someway, Grizzla's flow pads are comfortable in nearly every position. I can't explain it because nylonoves should be better due to their higher customization ability. What can I say, Grizzla's are amazing!

I wanted to get grizzla pads, their fairing system is good. Just didnt want to wait and I got clark pads. Clark pads are so tight I have a hard time even getting out. I dont want to cut them open either. Thanks for heads up about them getting destroyed, didnt know that. If clark pads where wider it would be nice. Sticking them on velcro in 1 piece is easier. Maybe I will get those flow pads when that new wheel comes out. Gt looks kinda ugly. Will be interested in some new wheels with 50s and smart bms.

Was leaning towards the Clark bio pads :/ I've been using just the stock commander mini pads but the flares are tiny on them so I kept ripping the Velcro off the pads. I have a piece of high density foam covering the flares on both sides to help keep them down and while I haven't noticed the Velcro separating I get about half an inch less purchase on the pads :/

{TL;DR. about how "proprietary" manufacturing stifles the marketplace.} On a less "subjective" note, the issue that needs you attention is that of the incompatibility of similar voltage chargers with "proprietary" connectors, which makes charging across platforms require a homemade adapter. Having different charge-connectors for different voltages is understandable and unavoidable until we get smart "programmable" chargers that could distinguish voltage range but that not where the industry is yet. The "objective" issue of proprietary connectors is when you have 2 different "branded" chargers of the same voltage but you'd like to double up the chargers to fast charge your wheel. Frustrating, to say the least. Several YT icons have complained about this seemingly minor quibble between manufacturers but it's indicative of the lack of community influence over industry standards that would favor the customers and vendors, alike. Some Social pressure needs to be brought to bear down on these feuds that will only get worse at scale. In this category, we could include the incompatibility of charge connectors, foot pedals, interchangeable headlights, proprietary shocks, and proprietary battery shapes- fwiw. Proprietary pedals are the worst offender, imho, but charge-connectors seems almost silly but it just as real in preventing wide-spread adoption of EUCs; interchangeability of parts between manufacturers would create a more resilient marketplace. How do you, or other rides, experience this problem. Should we demand better as a community of consumers? I'd have to praise E-Rides for their introduction of a foot-plate system that has mounting brackets that make cross-compatibility possible but at the "cost" of unnecessary weight and complexity. {Personally, I'd prefer all wheels to come without pedals, pads or chargers in order to encourage an active aftermarket of creative suppliers but these makers seem to be playing for a monopoly, and not for a detente; which is pathetic.} I'll add some time-marked links to other videos below if you're interested in covering this objectively annoying subject. {If one could search YT EUC transcripts for keyword "proprietary", this might help.} Clips: {7:33-8:15} Video: "Inmotion V14- First Look" - Albert laments charge-port connector incompatibility.

Which size of grizzla pads do you have on the extreme? Seems like most people have the large variant, but I don't love the overhang
@WheelGoodTime

Mine are the big variety. There is a bit of overhang, but that will be rectified very quickly with a set of Grizzla fairings, which I will be putting on shortly. That significantly increases the real estate for pads

@@nolanngo2652 I think the regulars are likely to work just fine for the extreme as well. I was unsure which I should choose also, but without a fairing kit, you might have a somewhat unsightly overhang with your pads, if you have them angled as far forward as mine.
