Her 24 hours, don't require having to take public transport (which includes waiting for public transport), housework from changing/making the beds, dusting, washing, ironing etc. That alone already gives Kim K 5 to 6 extra hours as day compared to many others who cannot afford a car or a cleaner.

My experience with credit as someone who didn't have money. The first card I applied for was geared towards college students, got denied. The bank clerk was genuinely confused and didn't have an answer. I had no credit or anything. Everyone else I know got approved but not me. And I was 18 so I applied for 2 other student credit cards and got rejected. Finally got approved for the Discover card and my credit score turned out to be 550. The odds can very well be stacked against you if you have nothing. So this person claiming that she wasn't handed anything is refusing to acknowledge how just being born into wealth plays a huge advantage for her behind the scenes.

American culture often judges more how you spend your money, not if you have it. There's also a tendency that if you are young and beautiful then people are more forgiving of mindless consumption, but if you are older then there is heavier judgement about if you are spending your money "correctly". It also has to do with the divide between what's called "old money" and "new money". Basically old-money is very concerned about being financially conservative and not losing wealth, while new money is about celebrating/bathing in the success of the moment.

I lived in Sydney’s inner west from 2000-2009 when I went to UTS and Usyd and working full time after graduating. Most people shared apartments with flatmates unless they had a 1 bed or studio apartment. Rent was around 350 a week for a 2 bed apartment and it went up around $400 in 2006. The deposit for a property required a 20% deposit and mortgage repayments were at least double if not triple a weeks rent. That was a huge barrier to buying a property. All my friends from uni had help from their families in some way either from living at home to save for a deposit, parents giving them the money for a deposit or buying the property outright for them and having some sort of paying back arrangement.

Hmm, shes got a lot of connections and it doesnt take a lot to have multiple positive articles written about you with these online publications, especially if shes a publicist, she could easily pay for all this coverage and provide the publications with exactly what she wants them to say about her. A lot of PR for influencers and people like her online can just be bought and swayed in whichever way they’d like the article to read. I also say this because the articles about her kids businesses talk so highly about them and claim the businesses were raking in the multi-millions. Ive never heard of ANY of these brands or this family and been in australia true blue raised here my whole life. Even if you take me not knowing them out of the equation, i still dont understand how its physically possible to make so much money off super cheap products that are outsourced for so cheap already and sold by many other well-known brands instore (like hair bows & figdet toys). I find it VERY hard to believe the millions these kids businesses were making is actually true. Its also convenient when the bows business stops its said in the media its due to the business doing “too well”, not because it probably wasnt a profitable business and cheaper outsourced products wouldve dominated those markets over their products. You cant make multi millions off selling just hair bows or figet toys when China and other countries will do them for half the cost and sell them to much larger retailers everywhere. Theres nothing unique about their kids businesses’ products and the margins and profitability would be so low selling these few products only (whereas bigger brands usually have these products as an “add on” for cheap on the side to the main product) so it just doesnt add up. I do believe they have money but not as much as they claim. The large amount of very frequent and positive articles/PR online about them is definitely paid and organised by that family and a bit telling i think 😅

Occasionally enough money to go on vacation to the beach. :-) Be proud of it all because we worked hard for it. Happy to have our family and friends around. Life's too Short you need to enjoy. I hope my Aussie friends stay humble 💕✌️. Side note - I remember my first brand new car. It was a Ford focus. I was so proud of it and loved it.(Hey my car now is not much more expensive ) . Because I was able to have a new car which means it was reliable, it gave me that sense of comfort. That was most important to me. I worked hard for it. In work this girl was selling knockoff designer handbags. Everyone was scooping them up. This is one gentleman asked me why didn't you buy one? I said to him, can you imagine me walking out of a Ford focus, supposedly with a $2500.00 bag? I would be so silly. 😅

Growing up with rich parents doesn't mean shit. My friend grew up in Vaucluse, in a MASSIVE waterfront property. She got locked out of school in year 9, so her parents made her get a job. She was a checkout chick at Woolworths in Bondi. She had to save up for her secondhand shitbox cat ( Datsun 120Y) and was told she was on her own. None of her siblings were given handouts either. They had to make their own way in life. The reason they were given by their parents? "This is OUR money. We worked hard for everything we have, therefore, you can all do the same"! People always assume that the kids with wealthy parents get everything handed to them. But that isn't always the case.

It's absolutely sickening and mindblowing to me that she STILL puts her daughter in the spotlight even after the horrifying photoshopped pics came out. Even if the goal was to set up a new business to fund her daughter's future, that could have been done without putting her out there. "I didn't think about if it was right or wrong" .....But why not? She is YOUR CHILD. Is keeping her safe (in this case, safe from internet exploitation) just not a priority?

If the highest amount made by the entries was $3.2M, how did they expect to make enough coin to hit the $11.5M mark on the property..?

Buying ANY property with McDonalds part time is a JOKE. The worst are the articles about her daughter being a successful business owner who RETIRED. Like for fucks sake, her mom made a business with her name on it. She didn't do shit as a 10 year old other than maybe choosing stuff she liked, otherwise it's child abuse. But sure she must be a grounded young women... But your point on how she experiences all these extra things in her early years is going to make her burn out - unsensitive to all this by the age of 18 ... And we know where child celebrities get their highs from...

She's a wrong un'! She' s on it running her business, yet is quite okay getting with someone who is supposed to get married to someone else, doesn't ask question about her husband's dodgy business practice, and finds the inclination to have an affair in the 10 months her hubby's in jail, because god forbid she ass chased by her ex....could she not have said no?All this after breast cancer diagnoses??Trust me anyone who gets cancer, the last thing on their mind is having and affair or cheating. I have never heard of her but she's clearly not above board, and lives the life off her family's money. What she is doing to her 12 year old is terrible, pimping out her daughter....not a great mum! ....Caitlin thanks for the segment! And yes sometimes good people can do bad things but that is rare(no one is perfect), but if doing bad things becomes the norm then the person is a bad person, who might or might not do good things rarely(if ever).

she must be doing something right, otherwise people wouldn't buy into what she's selling. You can't become wealthy if people aren't buying what you're selling?

As a Sydneysider, she started in her parents' commercial office. She also Married into a wealthy family (wealthy on the BRW list). However, she pursued her husband, who was in another relationship at the time. Her husband has also been jailed for fraud. She is a Pure Narcissist-I wouldn’t believe anything that comes out of her mouth. She now lives in Singapore.

I'm always suspicious when I hear about wealthy people's gifts to charity. Apart from tax benefits, they also get reputational benefit by advertising it. Hardly true philanthropy.

Obviously she was given the deposit for the first property because she could not have saved enough at Maccas even 20 years ago. She would have needed someone to get her the loan. You need a wage to borrow against. Sad to say it wasnt easy to get a home loan as a single woman.

If you are humble people believe you are a fool or naive. However, privacy and humbleness is highly appreciated in USA, Canada and Europe.😊 Also the connection you make because you are rich is the secret for success. Wealthy people know each other help each others and destroy each other. So good for her that is is successful, has a good life and is happy .❤

I've never heard of this woman before watching this video, so thank you for bringing such entertaining news to my screen. On another note, when you brought up the affair this Aussie PR "Queen" had with the wealthy ex, it made me think of the movie "The Unusual Suspects". There are a few crossovers from her life in the movie and makes me wonder if she was used as (loose) inspiration for main character? Also, who the f**k does business from a random Insta DM with people you don't know. If I were her business associates from any of the other companies, she'd be on my probation list!

There is no way she bought it with her own money. Not a slight, not shade. Purchasing in Maroubra is a nightmare - No chance 20 years ago She was doing anywhere in the eastern suburbs on her own without a down, even with the 50 K government assistance. That’s not shade, my uncle helped me get my first house because I couldn’t have. Nor could she without help, and there is no shame in that, but there is a problem with not telling people that you had help.

also the journalist's comment on boobs??? breasts are a BODY PART, removing them is removing an actual part of your body! gender dysphoria can affect cis people as well, esp in the case of something like breast cancer and mastectomy. if you are a woman, you have breasts and then you lose them, it can feel like you're losing part of your womanhood and identity as a woman. how fucking insensitive of a comment that was oh my god

Im in England and we are taught the same. Not to flex your wealth as it is considered inappropriate and again like in Australia not being humble. Personally, I cannot stand people who claim if you work hard you can make loads of money. Many peoole work hard but can't afford expensive things... nurses for example, they work so hard but can't afford a luxurious lifestyle!!

The daughter situation is as yucky as pageant parents from Toddlers in Tiaras. It’s forcing your kid to engage in adult pastimes that shouldn’t be interesting to a kid.
