Yeah… it’s a Snack Pack. They’re the slowest, heaviest and least modifiable of the muscle cars. You buy them for sound and burning tires in comfort. Not to race.

I had one and this is exactly right, the gas pedal is the most lively of any car Ive had but at the end of the day its built on a platform to comfortably move 5 adults around.

You can make a 392 fast it’s just very expensive

@@kareemhailey9585 you can make anything fast my dude. Especially with a wallet. But the 392 is just not a great choice if you want to race. It’s slower at the start, comes by power a lot less easily and still has to haul a quarter ton more around than direct competitors. I personally am an import guy, my car started with 350whp but $725 in mods and the software to back that up and it’s making 460whp. Thats good . No snack pack can keep up unless it’s forced induction. The Mustangs and Camaros same deal a few mods and it’ll dust a FBO E85 392 all day…

To be fair I did have 600lbs of gear in the back seat and trunk, & I’m over 200lbs myself. His camero definitely wasn’t stock, but even if it was I still would’ve loss ( with or without the added weight ).

@@ispeedalot of for sure. I’m not putting the 392 down, and you had the good attitude to laugh at it. I just think a lot of people think they’re better at racing than they actually are since they’ve got such a large V8 and make 500hp. The weight is the largest thing that holds the Scat back from being truly competitive with a 5.0 Pony or LS3 Camaro. Does seem to keep neck and neck through 100mph though!
