It's really interesting seeing just how many guys I've seen in my schools grow their hair simultaneously, and one by one, they all started to cut it again once it reached shoulder length. But me being the transgender girl that I am, this was the perfect opportunity to grow it nonchalantly and I don't plan on cutting it any time soon (still trimming though) It's relieving hearing a documented story about what it feels like to grow your hair out for the first time because I related a lot with this video! And it also helped confirm my conspiracy that a ton of guys were thinking the same process during covid

As a guy who also grew his hair for a good while, basically everything in this video minus the eat-tons-of-your-own-hair then no happened to me. Only reason I eventually cut it was when ever I wanted to even slightly move head while going to sleep, I would have to life my head up, put my hair behind (above?) my head, move my head where I wanted it, then put my hair down. Funny thing, last haircut I got before covid was March of 2019. My mom always made me cut my hair short, and since covid started I had an excuse to not get a haircut. So I let it grow WAY out compared to what I normally had. It got to the point where I stuck up for myself and told my mom I was leaving it long. She fought It for a while, but eventually let me have my long hair. I've had one haircut since then and my hair is currently shoulder length and I wear it in a ponytail quite often. Life goal achieved

First you need to do the round the mouth thing to see if the hair is sticking out of your mouth so you can easily remove it. If not, then try to push it to the tip of your tongue with your teeth. This will make it easier to locate and secure the hair. If hair is stuck in chewed food, chew the food into a clump then split it in half with teeth or tongue. Hopefully a piece of hair will be stuck in both of the two halves of food, making hair easier to grab. If you have food in your mouth and your have located and secured the hair, close your mouth while you are taking the hair out so that your food doesn't come out with it. If the hair is stuck in gum, give up. Throw out the gum cause it isn't gonna come out.

See, my freshman year I SHAVED my head bald for a Halloween costume. It was Sans. Listen, me being cringey my freshman year of high school is besides the point, after I shaved my head I was dedicated to growing out my hair. Over the course of my sophomore and junior year I grew my hair out past my shoulders. I went from a naked head to long locks of luxuriously lanky whimsical wonderful wavy hair. With my goatee I was the real life equivalent to fat Thor. I feel you man. The constant hair that fell out was a big change for me and I had to adapt accordingly. As a guy with no beauty standard, putting my hair up was a nightmare. I am a stomach sleeper and would have to finagle my hair behind me. Life, while being complicated, was perfect. The only thing that I couldn’t relate to is hair in the front being curlier, my hair was all pretty much the same kind of wavy. I am a senior now and I have since cut my hair down to a regular short length. I kinda long for those days where I would spent 30 mins in the shower untangling my hair, but for now I am content with short hair. Loved this video.

I have lived his long hair most my life, but what I do is get it cut every 1-2 years, at which point it is past my shoulders, and I donate it. This means that instead of just having somewhat long hair the whole time, I go from buzz cut to long hair every time I get it cut, and the thing about hair is you need to train it and get used to it. There's definitely a genetic side of things that you can't control, but there's definitely a lot that just learning how to handle it can help.
