Hi Paul, I just put a 3 g in the ground a month ago, I wanted Iman passand but couldn't find it anywhere, but this one doesnt have the fruit splitting issue. Good luck with yours!

Imam Passand is sold as Alampur Baneshan in Florida. I hope this helps you in your quest.

I have a Jehangir mango tree. I'll tell you something. The fruit you have looks right on the outside, but the flesh looks off on yours. It's almost white inside with Jehangir. Ask Julian Lara. He will tell you the same thing. Love you brother!

Indian mangoes like that variety should be eaten semi ripe. They will taste like a cough syrup if fully ripe.

we are luckier than people from India, we have Angie(Alphonso seedling) color(inside and out), flavor intensity ,fiberless ,spicy ,has it all.

Angie is most likely a cross between Carrie and Edward mango. It's definitely not from Alphonso.

@AnnonaReticulata he may have selected it, but it originated at Frank Fascell's Four Fillies Farm

Is this your third or fourth mango tree after you declared that you do not have any space left in your backyard? LOL. Joking aside, the background when you sit down to cut that mango is amazing! Chris from Truly Tropical also has mentioned this mango a few times in her videos.

Actually I have no room in the ground and currently have 3 mango trees I got in pots that I bought with no room or plan of what to do with them. I also have some Ice Cream in the post but those were grafted.

What I have started to do is gift my friends mango varieties that I want to eat but don’t have room to plant. Once those trees are established, they will produce more fruit than those friends will be able to eat and trading mango fruit varieties is part of the reason I grow them in the first place. Everybody wins. Spread the love ❤

You can graft on it it in a one gallon pot so it can be very young

Trees , Greenery , Fruit gardens make you happy. just watching this makes me happy from my boring exhausting city office life. I really like the mangoe which is a little big longish and it tastes kinda sweet when its raw. I don't know the variety name but i really like it when its raw, fresh, crunchy to eat. There is a fruit called Khiri. I have never seen anywhere either on internet or anywhere else in india except in bihar when i used to go to my village. I wish people know about it and it was marketed. It was a tiny one delicous fruit in my opinion.

Yes I'm not going to buy more tees and if I find any more good ones I'll just multi graft them.

The way you guys cut the mango really different. Instead cut big clean slides that u can get the most meat out of it, ya cut thin thin slices around the seed while keep holding on a knife because u had to cut dozen slices
