JustAnswer Customer from Barton-upon-Humber, England: Hi.
JustAnswer Customer from Barton-upon-Humber, England: I have a beko washer dryer WDX8543130 and is not drying anymore.
JustAnswer Customer from Barton-upon-Humber, England: It happened before, like 3 months ago, an engineer came and reset it.
JustAnswer Customer from Barton-upon-Humber, England: It worked acceptable (still not drying completely but sufficiently) for about two months and then stopped drying.
JustAnswer Customer from Barton-upon-Humber, England: It turns on, does the washing and/or drying cycles but without drying.
JustAnswer Customer from Barton-upon-Humber, England: I suspect this time it might not even heat the water when doing the washing at higher temperatures.
JustAnswer Customer from Barton-upon-Humber, England: Could you please help?
JustAnswer Customer from Barton-upon-Humber, England: Thank you so much.

Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: Hi, I'm Daniel welcome to JustAnswer.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: Sorry to hear you are having trouble with your washer, Lets see if i can help you on this.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: If the dryer isnt working then its more then likely just the thermostat on the top has tripped out.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: Pull the washer out and unplug it.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: Then remove the top panel.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: There you will see the dryer heater box on the top.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: Towards the front of this is the thermostats.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: Look in the middle of them and there will be a small button.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: Press this and if you hear a click then its just reset.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: Then retry the dryer and see how it goes from there as that should cure the fault from there.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: Also then watch the load size you try and dry as if you overload the dryer then it effects the airflow and causes the thermostat to trip out.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: Try that and see what you find from there.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: As to the wash side not heating up this uses a different heater and thermostats so i lot of people think when the dryer stops working it stops the washer from heating.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: this isnt the case as the dryer wont stop the washer from heating the water.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: To check this just set it going on a 90 degree cycle and see if the front of the washer gets hot during the wash.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: Regards
JustAnswer Customer from Barton-upon-Humber, England: Hi.
JustAnswer Customer from Barton-upon-Humber, England: We'll try the troubleshooting suggested for the dryer issue.
JustAnswer Customer from Barton-upon-Humber, England: In ref to the washer function, it doesn't get hot when at any temp, not even at 90, everything is cold in either side of it, what could be done in regards * * please?
JustAnswer Customer from Barton-upon-Humber, England: Thank you.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: Ok if the wash side isnt heating then its either the heater element or the control board.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: To check this pull the washer out and unplug it.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: Then remove the back panel and there at the back of the drum is the heater.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: You need to check the wiring on this and then with a multi meter test the heater.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: It should read about 30 Ohms.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: If faulty then it will need to be replaced.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: But if the heater is fine and its not even doing a 90 degree cycle then its more then likely the control board s the heater relay on the board is what controls the heating on these washers.
JustAnswer Customer from Barton-upon-Humber, England: Hi.
JustAnswer Customer from Barton-upon-Humber, England: No thank you.
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: I assume you mean no thanks the phone call?
Daniel: Home Appliance Technician: If so then just ignore it as its not me sending them as its the site.
