Fandom: The King's Speech
Song: "The Poet Acts" from The Hours, by Philip Glass
Description: An overview of The King's Speech, a movie about the "second son" who becomes king. Unfortunately, Albert (Colin Firth) is plagued by a stammer. With the help of his wife (Helena Bonham Carter) and his speech therapist (Geoffrey Rush), he's able to overcome his impediment, and make the most important speech of his life.
A/N: No more videos with voiceovers! Eeeek. Between "Secrets" and this one, I'm all voiceoever-ed out. Haha. But seriously, I wanted to use more of the King's actual speech, but it's got Beethoven blasting throughout. Don't get me wrong, I love Beethoven's Seventh Symphony, but it made most of the speech unusable!
