I hope you're right but every time a guy like this comes down the pipeline, he blows an ACL or knee real early. Victor is not a big leaper. He doesn't even need to, actually. Point is : he is not falling from a very high point and that limits the stress on his joints, ankles, knees, back, etc... Sure, it's a concern but if someone can buck the trend, it's definitely him. The thing that helps too is: his parents were athletes. Father was in track and fields, taught Victor a lot about nutrition, stretching, running, jumping, etc since a young age. You can see it in Vic's warm up routine, it's top notch, real quality work. He knows what he is doing. I truly believe he is hoing to be great.

The Heat, and what are the Heat without Wade? Nothing. In addition to all of that Wade being so faithful and so close to Lebron, it isn't out of the possibility that Lebron takes his talents to Detroit as the older line up did evertyhing the could. Being a realist here and factoring history into this, players that tall that play the way he does usually don't last healthy in the NBA. He seems to have a perimeter-based game where he could easily land on someone's foot coming down off of a jump shot. Once that happens, there's usually an injury domino effect that follows that. It's very difficult for players his height to regain their normal abilities once that happens. Yao Ming, Ralph Sampson, Kristaps Porzingis, and other seven plus footers that we're able to move out to the perimeter and be effective for a period of time just didn't last consistently healthy. I hope Victor's an outlier to this but I'm not too optimistic at this point about the hype around him.

Kristaps got hurt. If he gets hurt then he could potentially end up w/ the same type of career as KP's.

i love the fact Jalen mentioned Magic, MJ, Shaquille and LeBron, but completely omitted/glossed over Kobe (maybe 81 reasons) 😆🤣😆

The talk should be Scoot and Emoni vs Wembanyama. Emoni should have taken the path Scoot took. Free Emoni and give that young man a second chance. The powers that be let’s get Emoni on the G League Ignite team.

Dude is basically a 7’4 wing that can do it all on offense and is a natural shot blocker. He is skinny but not Chet Skinny and he is still growing… Skill set is ridiculous for his body

Please pleaseeee somebody give this man the trainers, physical therapists, nutritionists, doctors to keep him healthy. Soooo many good prospects unfortunately had bad health ruin their potentially legendary careers 😢

Poor kid scoot henderson, he gets the dub but is still an afterthought. This was the coming out party of Victor Wembanyama. But well played by the NBA, getting the ignite team as opponents to hype the game even more.

Let be real Even if Victor get 0 points in this game He would get the first pick....he got enough footage to get the first pick...

Any lottery pick can hit #1. We seen Bulls get D Rose from 13. Bottom 3 all have even odds, then 4 and 5.

Tanking seems to be the worst move you could make.. just looked up worst record in the league for the past 5 years and NONE of them got the #1 pick

I would pick scoot just because of longevity alone. Not to mention he can move without the ball, play defense, score in the paint, has great agility, good midrange and can shoot from the 3. It’s the same feeling I had about Kyrie Irving

I'm really surprised how well he shoots from the outside. I can see him being a match up nightmare like Kevin Durant or Dirk Nowitzki with that Jumper. Good for him and I also like the Henderson kid from The Ignite.
