Greetings and Salutations Lester, your crisscross leg issue is because your xy and over lol not really Dad is almost 92 and until a few months ago he could sit cross legged especially after getting his black belt in Kung-fu when he was 82 and you want to talk about bad knees he was in a plane crash in 1955 and burned over a third of his body. I thought he had a rash today at brunch but realized after we left it was actually his keloid scar tissue had returned I'd never seen his return like this before mine do this all the time yes I got burned when I was 9 and again 3 years ago.

When my Mom was diagnosed with cancer, my 2 sisters (one loves writing like my mom & I) took care of her in shifts in her home. My oldest sister and I each kept a journal of everything, the funny, the sad, the emotions, the conversations. Yes, very therapeutic and can remind you of your strengths later in life. Those journals are a dear treasure to us, now 30 years later. 💕💜

I thank God for you Dejay, I've recently returned to the Lord and music is how the Spirit touches me, so your suggestions of songs do so much for me. I joke that music is my Achilles heel, because Im so soft hearted I cry as soon as I hear praise in a song. I like your suggestion of writing I think it would be something I could do. I've been living with my son for nearly a year because I became homeless when family turned against me, I know Jesus has me on a path to where he wants me and your part of that journey. God bless you, Daniel and the kids, also that he watches over your animals.

I had a diary, a longtime ago. I wrote a childrens book, back in the 80’s. Went to online college, to get the certificate to show I can write. I got several rejection letters, so I stopped writing. I have been talking to some Church sisters about it and they are encouraging me to write, again. I have written a short devotional, that I may send to SECRET PLACES magazine. I’m 63 and disabled, but I can still talk and type! Thank you, DeJay, for encouraging me even more. I have subbed to your channel, so I won’t miss anything! Be safe! Prayers and Blessings always

Your videos are great Dejay. Love to see your perspective of the farm. I’m not religious but I do believe there is a god and I talk to my deceased family and friends when I need help figuring out our world. I believe they are listening when I need them and are there supporting me through it all. I have journaled in the past but I need to do this again. It helps to relieve stress and the worry to get out what’s going on in our lives. The fun of the animals and the chaos is funny to watch. They always like to pick at you and be loved lol

That’s a great idea for journaling. I’ve always felt that if you were going to journal, that you needed to do it every day. However, you e given it back to me. Great video DeJay and your right writing in a journal is very helpful for one’s mind set and thought process! I use to write down my pain and experiences from when I was a child! I was an abused step child with 3 younger siblings that my mother and step-father had together ! They weren’t abused but I was beaten bloody and black and blue several times a week ! My mother didn’t stop it and my step-father fully took great pleasure in hurting me! He would grind my toes into the floor under the table when we ate meals and dare me to say anything , he’d beat me with boards, garden hose nozzles, tools, leather belt buckles, I had my first set of broken veins in my legs before I was 12 yrs old ! You get the picture I’m sure , I’m in my 70’s now and in those days no one stepped In to help , people stayed out of other peoples family goings on and so did school teachers , so no one helped me! I moved out on my 18th birthday while my parents were out of town visiting relatives and I was left to care for my 3 siblings, so I had planned to leave earlier in the week ! I was a senior in high school and never had a date or allowed to date or have friends over or even call them on the phone , I was a trapped girl with no where to go but I needed to get out! My friend told her parents of my situation and they said I could come to their home until I finished school ! She came an picked me up and all I took was the few clothes I had and my feather pillow! It was bliss for a week ! After that first week my mother came to the high school and had me called ti the office where she took me and drive me to a neighboring county and got me married to a truck driver! DeJay I will just say things didn’t get a lot better but at least I wasn’t beaten everyday! Anyway I started writing my story and it helped me to deal with the pain that lived inside me and sort it out , so your right journaling can help you sort your thoughts out and ease your mind! DeJay I’ve noticed when you come out to feed Phoebe her bottle and play with her and Fallon that Freedom stand there looking on like she wants attention also! Maybe get a Fanny pack and put treats in it and give Freedom some treats while your playing with the babies so she feels included when y’all have your special times together ! It’s just a thought but but Freedom looks like she wants some attention while the babies are getting attention , and maybe she wants to be included in y’all’s fun time girl time ! I think your page is gonna be a hit , and I love that you give us stories and back rounds of the stories and your really good at it!! I know this comment is long and I hope you don’t mind , but I wanted you to know your correct that journaling does help in many ways ! And I’ll bet your kids will love reading them one day ! I burned mine many years ago because I didn’t want my son to know the pain and torture I’d gone through because I thought it would cause him pain to know about my pain!! God bless you and your new journey in videoing your own page ! Just “ Do Your Best” and Gif will take care of the rest!! ❤️🙏✝️🙋🏻

How did I not know you had a channel??? Im SO excited! I used to journal and write "letters" or "notes" to children in their own books.. That started w the NICU nurses keeping a journal w my first Child. My writing got me through the death of my Parents and the adoption of my kiddos.. I havent done it in a while and my heart NEEDED to be reminded. Often my journals was "letters" to God.. I now have a 10, 3 and 1 year old each from birth.. Through withdraw.. And the adoption process which PLEASE help me pray for the quick finalization of the last 2.. Its been drug out bc of C and needs to be completed.. Please help me pray .. I also journaled some through my cancer treatment the year before we had ( adopted) our first child.. What I can remember of that year. Which isnt much ( 2010) But anyway Thank You DeJay for reminding me about documenting and distressing and the personal messages to my children and most of all the relationship I once had w the Lord through my writing and I had let slide and go. I NEEDED to be reminded. I NEED the therapy so badly. And oh my gosh.. You are soothing to the soul. God has a calling upon you DeJay .. I pray you can see it. I know what He sees in you.. Im so thankful He has made a way to share you with us. The world needs you, hearts like yours, compassion and inspiration. Thank you. May God bless you and reward you for sharing. I will be honest ( and apparently too chatty) but Im struggling right now w life. Im blesses and shouldnt be but I am. You reminded I am not alone. Thank you. Be Blessed abundantly.

Needed a good laugh loved the drama of mini donkeys knocking down the camera. I have journaled on and off for many years, but the last two and half years I have been more consistent. My daughter has "duvorced" me for her friends and it has been a struggle to live. She was my BFFFF and I neglected me and paid the price emotionally. But with God's grace and comfort I'm doing better. AFH KZitem has definitely helped in my emotional journey.

I like all of your advice and comments. I enjoy what you 🙏 have for topics and answers! Just talk about how you🙏 feeling and what's on your mine! Your going to have some ups and down ,but roll with the punches! We all make mistakes, but that don't mean that you do right now! Have faith in yourself our GOD does!

You need a chair ! I used to journa! But when I looked back at bad times I became so depressed. Now I have a book titled Thank you Jesus, and that is what I write all my thank you's to my Savior. I guess we can still call that journaling. I really enjoying hearing you each week..praying for you!

I love that you have your own page! Phoebe is just the sweetest. I love the white on her face. ❤️ And the donkeys turning the camera over just adds to the video! Great job!

Yeah Daniel got you good! I laughed so hard on him doing that! I think he did that on purpose. He misses being in your video's. DeJay introduce your husband Daniel on a video and get him back with some flour or something. Show him how you love him. Lol. Hold On, he is going to read this. I'm just kidding Daniel. DeJay thankyou for the video. I'm caught up on your video's. back to the podcast. Back to my ol buddy Daniel. God bless you and your family

Thanks for sharing with us . something just dawned on me. Everyone leaving comments kind of reminds me of having pen pals. That probably sounds stupid

I’m so happy you started your own channel. I love this one with the baby donkeys getting in the way. Your family is the best, I’ve been following you all for a while now. Following your family has been therapy for me. I was divorced in 2018 after 30 years. I went back east to be with my mom in 2019 who had cancer and didn’t want any treatment. I was able to spend her last 3 months with her. I think she would have enjoyed your channel as well. I think you’re doing great! Keep at it honey. God bless you. ❤️

Today, you really spoke to me! I, to, write my feelings. Notebooks, scraps of paper, stationery and even sticky notes (lol) ! Its just a place me and God know about. For me its a release from stress and worry. It's mainly just getting the junk out of my brain to be able function properly. But like you, as well, I do go back from time to time and review my emotions at the time they were written and how far God has brought me to a better place, with a peace from where I was while writing it all down. Looking back, He was carrying me, when I was at my weakest point, as our blessed Lord does. Thank you, Amen. Bless you and yours.

You are truly Blessed, DeJay. Being a Mom is what I wanted to be most in life. 3 years of IVF and nothing worked. I had to quit trying for my sanity. Writing in a journal helped at the time however, I cannot bring myself to read it. It was such an emotional time, dark sometimes and I had to finally come to terms with it just wasn’t God’s plan for me. Which of course made me very upset with him. To this day, i have not returned to church however, o and Daniel speaking of your Faith has got me thinking of returning even though I know I will bawl 😭 my eyes out.

I loved this video, you sharing your journal ... the crazy baby donkeys and Daniel showering., you should be growing now! He is the ornery one in the family! I never laughed so hard, between the donkeys and your husband!! Keep them coming!! You are doing a wonderful job!!
