Somehow the algorithm brought me here, just wanted to show some love.

Man.. I love everything about this except for the tone but who cares about my opinion.. rock on dood! The harmonics sounded sick with this tone though.

I like the ideas you had in here, especially the riff you started out with! Two things I wish I knew when I started playing guitar, you want to make sure your left thumb is perpendicular to the neck of the guitar (basically meaning it should be straight up while the neck goes sideways), and you want to hold a pick a certain way. Place your thumb sideways along the base of the pick, then curl your hand into it so the side of your index finger touches the back of it, with the base being close to the knuckle. These two things go so so far in how you develop your guitar playing, proper technique only boosts what you can do. I’m sorry if my explanation is ass, it’s hard to write it down when I can only really go by what I’m looking at lol. Also don’t wanna be preachy, I just know you could be an absolutely schnasty guitarist one day, anything to help that is a success imo. Good stuff!

It's all about preference and style; his pick and strumming stance is like Kurt Cobain's and his thumb on the fretting hand is like John Frusciante for muting/barring etc. Both of these are useful techniques alongside yours.

@@void0094 Sure, there are a bunch of guitarists that play differently than what I said. I didn’t say it was the only way to approach the instrument. Of course what’s considered “proper” technique isn’t the only way to find success, people will eventually find their own styles, it’s part of what makes it so sick. What I’m saying is the techniques I mentioned work to open up your range on the guitar, so you end up being able to play and explore whatever styles you want. Sort of a “know the rules so you can break them” sort of thing

@@adarkimpurity you’re definitely right! They’re not the only techniques out there, just a couple I wanted to share that I thought would help. I think knowing them alongside others you want to explore will just overall make a better guitarist

Cool as fuck, if i can give some advice id say but an interface and learn to produce a little. Adding drums and bass and maybe vocals would bring this to such a high level. Loving it and above all, keep going!
