Ive been to yokosuka naval base .. last june to october of this year ... i love japan.. so peaceful ... i miss walking in the morning and stopped at mcdonalds ... 🤪 i wish i can go back early next year

Was stationed in Yokosuka back in the 90s. I learned some. Was part of base support so I was there a while. Had a good time, turned into a sushi and saki snob lol. The back alleys are wild. Some are looking to come to America any way they can.

The roughest part was getting used to the ship. You will have a 2 week period to learn about Japan and all the rules you have to follow. Make sure to take advantage of the MWR and single sailor center to make the most of your time in Japan.

It all just depends on their needs. You can maybe get an input if they ask but it's basically all up to chance at the beginning.

I was lucky my friend was on shore patrol the day I had to many Chu-Hi’s or I would have probably gone to captain’s mass 😂 I learned my lesson!
