The story was posted for the exact reason. This is a reminder to all that happiness and success are states of mind. A man who content is a successful man.

She dumped him because she thought he wasn't good enough for her - then realised it was the other way round.

No matter how great things are... women always find a way to F it up. Especially those who value money. Happiness trumps money every single time... some people just don't get it. My wife and I live in California. Our combined income never got over $80k. Yet, we are happy. We own our house. We just built an in law suite for rental property and we are in the process of building another small house for rental property. It's not how much money you make, it's how much you save.

Some entitled egotistical precious effed up her life and decided to make an article about it. After all those years, it's still f@king all about her, only she is too narcissistic to realise it. She did that guy a huge favour!

Aw damn. She's still deluded enough to think she can make amends wit hthe guy and have him in her sad life. She'd beg just to be his side piece at this point. She tossed away a good man, even wounding him, to go play sex and the city IRL while also trying to keep him around as her quasi-husband on her terms to keep the "I"m a wh0re and I'll die alone and barren" feefees away. When he started to move on she tried to throw herself at him in a pathetic attempt to keep him around and ruin his relationship. This made him realize how toxic selfish and dumb she really was. She didn't want him, but she damned sure didn't want him to be happy and move on without her. She instantly killed any care and love he had lingering for her and every attempt at a relationship since has been an attempt to get back what she threw away and tried to destroy later. Which drove him further into the arms of a better woman. Even the last moments was her pathetically hoping to get him back. A foolish selfish ratchet job in a three piece suit hoping to lure a good man to his destruction with her used goods.

Another "smart" woman, taking care of business. They destroy two people's lives as if there's was the only permitted opinion.

This woman is pure evil. NEVER remain friends with an ex wife or girlfriend. They do NOT have your best interests in mind.

He would have wasted his life trying to make her happy. She's like a black hole: no matter how much love and comfort and material possessions you throw into it it's still totally empty.

Well, there you are. "surrounded by success" and focused on what you DON'T HAVE. I'd be willing to bet dollars to BB's that you focused on what Matthew WASN'T. That is a formula for almost certain failure. I don't know if you were married in a Christian wedding. I was. I take my vows extremely seriously. Sickness and health, better and worse are REAL conditions, not hypothetical words. That's telling you that there will be times when you're incredibly disgusted and likely don't care if you ever see each other again. Under those circumstances, almost any change in your relationship will look like an improvement. What you're telling me is that you don't like the consequences of the decision that you made. Maybe THAT"S why the vows are sacred. I've been married to my wife for 39 years. We've made it through alcoholism, illness, family dysfunction and loss, for a few. These are just some of the situations that life will put in the way of your "dream". In the end, it really doesn't matter what non-fatal events one may face. The growth and happiness as well as the dissappointment and sadness are found in the results of the choices we make.

She's a "glass half empty" type of person. She always laments what's missing rather than appreciating what's there. These people are never happy. An attitude of gratitude is so key to a happy life. Every morning just be grateful that you woke up and go from there.
