Are there some things you’ve made up in your heart and mind that you will never forgive? In this Part of the Forgiveness in Marriage series, I want to start a dialogue about the things that we’ve said: “I’ll NEVER forgive THAT!”
Do you have a list of things that you have established, that you just could never forgive “THAT” particular thing?
Is it cheating? Is it poor communication? Lying? Showings of disrespect? Repeat offenses?
Furthermore, is it possible to show the same level of forgiveness no matter the level of offense? What if your spouse keeps breaching some level of trust? Have you reached your limit?
Let’s explore these topics and talk about them in the comments!
Scripture References:
Matthew 18:21-22, “Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.”
