A different kind of video today. Some of you know that some years ago I lost my sense of smell after a head injury. Cooking really is part of finding calm for me - then and now. When I couldn't smell or taste food anymore, I found other ways to keep my appetite and interest in food. It helped me cope in a very difficult time.
I was one of the lucky ones and recovered eventually, but I wanted to tell my story for anyone out there suffering. Anosmia is serious and very hard to live with, maybe even more so for us foodies. I hope you like the film.
