If they'd been Buddhist, Methodist or Blues singers, you'd have said the same about them. And just on a matter of probability, you'd be more likely to find Truth by changing Faith, to any Faith. I converted last year (24.6.2023) from Protestantism to Catholicism. Haven‘t regretted a single second! It feels natural and as if I have finally come home. Am now 52 years old and love being part of the Catholic Church, love the Pope and having a small but visible influence on my (Protestant) husband and four children. I pray for their conversion, too, in the future. ❤ Father Mike and Bishop Barron were a great factor in my conversion. The Catholic Church (even in Germany) is alive and vibrant. Happy Feast of Corpus Christi!

There were beautiful things about my old Anabaptist church... but I thirsted. Confession, Absolution, Eucharist, authority from Christ, deep teaching, love for my Lord Jesus pictured in the crucifix and the Divine Mercy Image and the Sacred Heart... What beautiful love! Jesus is becoming more and more and more beautiful to me. The Catholic Church is becoming more and more and more beautiful to me. My heart is drawn deeper! Thank You merciful God! I've asked above, but I'll ask again here, sister. What was your conversion story like? Do you have peace even though you reject Unconditional eternal security and have exchanged it for conditional security? I'm not seeking to argue, only to understand. :)
@timopper5488
4 ай бұрын
@@KevvoLightswift The unconditional security comes from Jesus’s promise; it becomes conditional only when a follower starts straying. It’s THE FOLLOWER alone who introduces the conditional aspect. Christ forged the New Covenant for us, and a covenant can be violated, but never dissolved. This happens when one party of the covenant breaks their promise. Take a wild guess who breaks the New Covenant (hint: it’s not Jesus). Saint Paul explicitly states that we CAN lose our salvation, not due to Jesus reneging on his word (because he will not ever do that), but by US reneging on our word.

I listen when I am driving to and from work, when I am cooking, when I am walking the dog etc. It is having an extraordinary impact on me, at the age of 57 because I never understood the Old Testament before apart from a few passages read in church. I was even scared to read too much lest I lose my faith in a good and loving God from the New Testament. When confronted with atheists who quoted from The Old Testament inquiring rhetorically about genocide, I had no answer other than 'my heart and my dreams tell me that God exists and that Jesus loves us'. God bless you for your extraordinary and joyful work.

It's refreshing to hear someone speak about the richness of truth and goodness present in various faith traditions while also affirming the unique gifts and inheritance within Catholicism. Your reminder that all Christians, regardless of denomination, share in the inheritance of the fullness of truth and the sacraments is powerful. It's a call to unity and understanding among believers, encouraging us to explore and embrace the richness of our faith. I appreciate your gentle invitation for those who may not be Catholic to explore the depth of their spiritual inheritance and consider the beauty of Catholicism. Your message embodies the essence of Christian love and openness, inviting all to journey together in faith. Thank you for your wisdom, guidance, and dedication to spreading God's love. May your words continue to inspire and uplift many souls on their spiritual journey.

I started praying the rosary and there is nothing like it. I feel so much peace. I'm still a bit uncertain since I've been protestant most of my adult life but I can't deny what I'm feeling. I love how the Catholics focus on Jesus' death on the cross among other things. Pray for me 🙏

When I returned to Church and went to confession the first time the priest’s comment on me having the first confession and mass in 2 years was thank God you’re here now. I felt he was truly happy to know someone returned to God.

I love this video. I felt like a lot was missing when I was still Protestant, like the sacraments - as well as how much of the Bible can guide/point one to Christ’s church - and I do feel like the fullness of the truth is in the Catholic Church, just as Fr. Mike describes here. I’m so grateful for Ascension Presents and for the local parish that accepted me for OCIA back when I wasn’t yet Catholic. Thank you so much Fr. Mike for speaking about the truth.
