I love Paul Wyle. What a great teacher and coach! I remember meeting him at a sports radio station I worked at back in the day. Nicest guy ever. Older age looks good on him. Very distinguished. Good job with your spins Dave.

@@TheSkatingLessonI would probably put Paul near or at the top when it comes to scratch spins. He puts a lot of momentum in his spins that you would think he was going to become a human helicopter.

Dave! Absolutely marvelous. Of course I'm envious that you have Paul for a coach as always. The speed with which you've improved your skating and the level you've reached in so short a time is amazing. I've also seen your circle 8 video and that's amazing too. You are a born skater, truly. I'm also sorry to hear you've had an injury, but am glad to see you're back on the ice and doing so well. I'm looking forward to the August event. Is there going to be a way to watch that competition on line? Thank you so much.

Another person who loves Paul Wyle and his teaching style. I also enjoy how you tease each other before settling down to work. It is great to see these lessons as they really inform other skaters (and coaches). I love how he includes the physics of why one does it a certain way. Being able to review the lessons help to catch bits you may have missed while you were in the moment. Your skating has improved so much! Keep blurring the rink!

Thats how I teach the blur spin.. leg arms leg arms... aka following Dorothy Hamill fast forward scratch blur spin. And holding the first 3 open arms and leg revolutions before pulling in the leg.

Really appreciate you and your coaches sharing these lessons, so much actionable advice. Glad to see you back on the ice after injury, must have been a long process. You guys are very generous with this content, it's not easy putting yourself out there. Hope to see more from you and your amazing coaches. 🤗
