Hey Ellie, a couple tips for you after watching the video 💜 You mentioned one of your friends struggling with protein during veganuary. Honestly, the 'you won't get enough protein as a vegan' thing is a myth - protein deficiency isn't even a thing in the Western world. Once you know where to get it from as a vegan, you'll be all good! 😊 So I'd recommend basing your meals around a protein source like tofu or tempeh (stir fries, wraps etc), and black beans, kidney beans, chickpeas (curries, chilli, pasta sauces), lentils (try lentil dahl or lentil Bolognese) and obviously the fake chicken/mince etc makes for an easy one. Also, edamame beans are a great way to add protein to salads. For creamy sauces, try silken tofu - it's creamy, barely adds taste, but adds loads of protein. Also sprinkling nuts, seeds and nutritional yeast (you've gotta try nutritional yeast!) on meals is a great way to add protein. Ooh and soy-based yoghurts are great for breakfast as they're fairly high protein too! Protein oats are another fave of mine 🤤 In terms of energy, feeling full and feeling healthy, it's defo good to focus on whole foods (veg, beans, lentils, nuts, seeds) as much as you can as that's where all the nutrition is. The fake cheese/meats etc are obvs delicious, easy and fine in moderation, but won't necessarily get you all the nutrients you need as a vegan. It is so cool that you're trying this! As you probably know, animals are treated horribly in both the meat and dairy industries, with most UK meat & dairy being factory farmed 😫. By going vegan, or even vegan a few days a week, you're reducing demand for these intensive farms. So everyone who's trying it, props to you 💜 - you're doing something really, really kind!

❤❤actually carbs and sugar give you energy. Protein just lasts longer. Love “just egg” for a little lightly scrambled moment. There’s vegan sausage and bacon. Vegan restaurants are the best for really delicious nutritious foods. Ps Oreos are vegan lol 😂 🥑🥑📸👁️💋👠🌱🐶thanks for saving animals yayyy. Put a little maple syrup on veg sausages ❤

the eggs hahhah so typical - I ordered a vegan Burger at Burger Kind once and the guy asked: which one do you want we have 3 cheddar cheese, mozzarella .. I was like no the VEGAN one (it's delicious by the way)
