Dr. Glassman is Shaun's REAL dad, not the guy who donated the DNA and kept him alive until he was a legal adult. Dr. Glassman is totally stone drunk in this scene, and it kicked his Grandpa Mode into overdrive. I am so glad he got to meet little Steve, his grandson, before he passed. I just wish they had all had more time together... I am going to be 45 later this year, and I lost my maternal grandfather, whom I was closer to than anyone who has ever lived when I was 21 to end stage terminal lung cancer. By the time the cancer was discovered, it was already WAY too late. I still feel closer to my grampa than anyone else even now, it's just harder for me because that vital piece of my heart has been lying 6 feet under in a cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada for the last 13 years. At least I had those 21 years with him, though. Whatever I do, I try to the thing that would make him proud of me.

@@steph.v.o.7078 My God, I am so sorry you had to loose your yours the same day you gained a child. I can't even imagine what you must have been feeling that day. My grandfather....... he was that "once in a lifetime" human being. He loved me with everything in him and would have crawled through hell to protect me from anything. It was, and still is, such an honor to have had the man I did for a grandfather. That I am 25% him is something I cherish, and I would like to think that the best 25% of who I am today came from him. You and I, we are lucky to have had the grandfathers we did. I believe we are better human beings for it. All us ladies need that man in our life like our grandfathers, as a father figure and a role model. Doesn't matter how strong and independent we are, and I KNOW we can be, and feisty on top of it, but still, we need that man like our grandfathers to be able to fall back on when we have our weak moments, knowing that they will be there to catch us, pick us back up, dust us off and give us the strength and courage to march back out and get things done is such a comfort to us. I'm sure it must be similar for men. May we both continue to make our grandfathers proud.

I used to watch this show w/my Mom in the years before & immediately following her terminal cancer diagnosis ( non small cell end stage lung cancer which went to the brain however... I personally believe it started there... anywho... I digress... 😌 ) the show kinda faded into the background as she progressively got worse... her health wasn't great to begin w/so much so to the point that I honestly forgot about this show until a few nights ago & then again... a fleeting thought... & then again tonight eating dinner & now having a smoke before going to bed... I miss my Mom terribly... & @ the same time I remember leaving off on the show where he meets her ( forgot her name but it was back whenever she was his neighbor lol 😅 ) & I remembered thinking that they'd end up making these two a couple... & I never saw the show after that... in fact... now that I know all of the dirty little deep seeded secrets of Hollyweird... I'm happy to report that I haven't had cable for years... otherwise... I probably would've picked back up wherever I'd left off... that said... I never dreamed that they'd make Sean a Dad!!! WOW 😳 funny too bc I empathize w/Sean on the level of never being able to have children... yet... having peace about it... someone in the comments section would like folks to comment more thus... to be entertained... so... if you wanna hear what's left of this story... you'll have to tune back in tomorrow night & I'll post a continuation of this right underneath this very post in my own replies to my own comments... yup... I said that... yup... gonna do it... & yup... absolutely know just how weird I am for it... 😅 so till tomorrow night... 🌃... PT 1 of my comment thread 🧵 🪡😊 till then... GB all y'all 🙏🏻🕊️🙏🏻

The first time the actor Richard Schiff (Dr Glassman) said the lines "no. Maybe. A little" was in season 3 épisode 16 of The West Wing (episode title: The US Poet Laureate) In this episode of The Good Doctor, Dr Glassman's line is in reference to his state of sobriety. Bonus points to whoever can give the context when he said it on The West Wing!

No it's not . Alcohol in any form is not good for anyone at specially not for pregnant women. New studies have proven that it's all bullshit that one class of wine a day is good for you. It's infact poison you put into your body and if pregnant you can cost a lot of damage to the unborn child. Get some info that's not 20 years old.
