So, i don't know banjos at all, this is all just conjecture, but I could understand if an instrument would go out of tune going from hot to cold, but if you give it time to "settle" to the new temperature, and then tune it, wouldn't it be fine?

Just because there's snow doesn't mean it's that cold out. There was a big storm in my area a few weeks ago, tons of snow on the ground still, yet it hit 70° this week. It doesn't all melt, just gets really icy.

This is sadly accurate but this isn’t even remotely true bluegrass, that shit had me dancing as a baby. To this day though, no fucking clue what they’re saying

@@brain4154 This is not an original song from the creator of this video. There is an older version by Bert Hare and I’m sure it’s not an original song of his. I think the version I’ve heard is from a field recording. Since it’s a folk song, it’s probably older than the field recording.
