Wow!!! Those guys are FAST! Another plus: Just think about the 1,200 sq ft of grass you're NOT gonna have to mow! Fun video...exciting times!

I can't keep up with these guys! I'm pretty fit, but they have a different level of endurance than me.

I appreciate the support! I won't lie. I do like manual labor and I just can't sit around an watch. It's nice to be on site that way you can be there for questions, make decisions on the fly and learn how to do something new. My builder is taking some money off for my being an extra set of hands to help which is pretty cool.

Chad , I learned this the hard way when you hire a contractor to put in a shop floor they have to under stand that it has to be as FLAT AS A POOL table , my floor is so wrong I have to jack up my tool box and put wood underneath it to keep the draws level when my lift is in the down position the two of the lift arms are 3 inchs up and the other two are on the ground , its a lot of problems that could have been avoided , you want the floor to be dead level and power trrowled this way you can work safely and also roll a heavy truck by your self .... you may also want to put the 1/2 radiant heating pipe in the ground just take a few pictures with a tape measure lying next to it

That stinks it didn’t come out right! My guys don’t have a power trowel but they did get it troweled nicely. I didn’t put any radiant in before we poured. I was way over budget when we started going bigger. Had to let a few things go unfortunately.

For a one day off, it looks like they scheduled that pretty efficiently .If you look hard enough you just might find those McDonald’s fry’s still hanging around.
