Lou’s voice is a brilliant pop ‘instrument’. It has great swoops, power and a poignancy that works sympathetically with the material. The backing singers have a unique rasp that also chimes perfectly with the texture of the piece. A sensational record.

1969 I was 17, rushing home from school to listen to pirate radio stations, planning my Saturday night at the disco after working all Saturday in a shop for just one pound, looking forward to wearing for the first time a dress I had made myself (we dressed up in those days). Simple times missed so much. 2022? Well we all know what the last few years have brought us. Sad that such simple happiness seems to have slipped away.

You are indeed correct. He is PERFECT. She is mistaking a chain used to hold the vest as part of Lou. Add to that this it is a day when men did not shave their chests , which I prefer. Excuse me as I comment on his very , very fine behind. Lou is not only a great singer but a visual treat.
